The way you censor the gore is so funny. You're almost oblivious to the gore and guts that Universal is trying to hide from the regular guest. And I love it, a lot of your viewers probably don't want to, or aren't old enough to, see and understand those things. I can't wait for HHN
The first year I went they got me for the chain wallet. I had to remove the chain and check it into security and get it back at the end of the night. I pointed out to them that they sold chain wallets in the Transformers gift shop. I was told that they send those to the front when you purchase them and have to get them when you leave. I am assuming the purse would be similar. Pro tip, bring fishing braid to tie your wallet to you when you get through security. It isn't a chain so it works out.
Omg, I going this year & this bideo is making me so excited! Thanks Tim great video! Honestly, I'm excited for all of it. My 1st time going was right after covid & wanted it to be more up in your face like the yrs before but it wasn't so I'm wanting that interaction more. Can't wait for more of your videos, hopefully Universal invited you for the media event. Also hope we get some haunt videos with you & Adam!!
The story this year is about the two sisters that represent two aspects of fear. The physical and psychological. SINIST3R represents the physical aspects of fear with real pain and torture. SURR3AL being the psychological component of mental torture and fracturing of one’s mind in the face of fear. The Blumhouse zone is simply called Enter the Blumhouse.
I always get nostalgic when watching the new Halloween vlogs and like to look at past the Tim tracker Halloween vlogs. If I remember the Tim and Jenn tracker hosted a few Halloween parties. -I think I will look for those. Get into the spirit.
This tour around to see what will be coming to HHN was interesting. I like watching vlogs of HHN , I will never be able to go to HHN , so it is cool to see on the screen. Im looking forward to your opinions after going threw the houses to. Anticipation for a horrorific season 👻 Be Safe Take Care 😊❤❤❤❤
Hey Tim, 27:25 That is in fact a replica of the Fisherman’s Memorial Statue that stands in my hometown of Gloucester MA, and is the inspiration for the Gorton’s Fisherman. Cast and erected in 1925, this monument is overlooking Gloucester Harbor as a memorial for all of the fisherman lost at sea while commercial fishing. Universal used the replica as theming for the Amity section of the park and moved it to that location as they renovated. Disney also took inspiration for their Mickey statue on the Disney Magic as well as the statue that is in the Cape Cod Area of Tokyo DisneySea.
I love watching the construction! Gonna do my best to avoid spoilers as soon as the event actually starts. Though I may be interested in looking at the food and the scare zones…
The brazen bull was made only once and only used once. Some emperor commissioned it as a brass torture device. Basically you throw some unfortunate soul inside and light a fire underneath. The heat would kill the person inside and the screaming would translate into the bull making sounds. The original victim of the bull was the sculptor himself as the emperor actually threw him in, in absolute cruelty and lit the fire himself. The bull worked exactly as promised as the bull made noise for a couple of minutes before the poor soul succumbed to the burns. The remnants were nothing but ash. The bull was still intact except it was never used again. It stood as an act of absolute cruelty in a courtyard. The city was ransacked a couple years later and the bull was melted down. The history still exists through writings although the original blueprints are lost.
Well done for that video Jen - you have given a really useful insight on changes and things to look for . Been through your situation , here in Scotland , with mum-in- law , then mum . A long and upsetting road caring for a parent with dementia , or even watching them becoming frailer and losing their independence. I also found a really helpful RUclips channel called Dementia Careblaisers
In popular lore, few images are as synonymous with Viking brutality as the “blood eagle,” a practice that allegedly found torturers separating the victim’s ribs from their spine, pulling their bones and skin outward to form a set of “wings,” and removing their lungs from their chest cavity.
@@jianthonnierojas7436 As someone who has worked at an amusement park haunt, soundstages aren’t needed. And my idea would be a park wide immersive story, where the darkness from Dark Universe escapes and “infects” the other universes, but is changed to fit the universes when it goes through the portal, in a “a form you are familiar with” fashion. All the other universes get the Halloween treatment fitting for the setting, characters are changed or added (for instance Death Eaters taking over in the Harry Potter universe). At the end, who ever is in charge of the portals “fixes the problem” for the time being and the darkness is pulled back into Dark Universe.
@@brianl8481 I'm aware but you need space to build mazes and I don't know if epic universe was built with Halloween event in mind and like I said before Epic universe was created to be like Disney. So they don't want to ruin the immersion by having props around like they do at Universal
Days, years, go by so quickly, I can’t believe it’s almost Labor Day,,,,,,I decorate an think of Halloween on Oct 7th each year,,,,I have neighbors buying Christmas gifts already,,,YIKES! 🙏🏽❤️🌴
I always thought I great idea for HHN or even any theme park haunt would be to build a house but don’t advertise it n keep the theme secret. Up until the point u actually go in it. Feel like that would be awesome 😂
I’m almost positive that the tribute store is gonna have the pawn shop from Frozen Empire, hence the New York/Ghostbusters tribute, also I’m surprised universal let guests just sit on the HHN stages like that, I’m guessing there weren’t any cast members around to yell at them 😅
You've got me intrigued now too about keychain wallets, if you find out ket ys know. Seems strange you may have your citywalk purchase confiscated when going in to HHN
The statue of a fisherman is just a copy of The Man at the Wheel statue, part of The Fisherman's Memorial in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Over in Tokyo DisneySea they also have a Mickey statue which is a play on that. A lot of people do confuse it with the Gorton's Fisherman logo but they're unrelated outside of Gorton's being a Gloucester-based company. It's just a fishing area so the iconography all blends. But yeah in the long run, the statue is not "A Gorton's Fisherman."
Blood eagle is horrible, it’s an old Viking torture technique. Basically they went through the back and literally ripped the lungs out through the back. They would arrange them like eagle’s wings. It was used to dispose of a king of Mercia back in the Viking age. It was used by the very cruel Ivar the Boneless (named so because of his well known flexible body though scholars would say he had some degenerative bone disease or spinal issue) to prove a point.
Blood Eagle 😢😮🫢 Um in Vikings lore it was a VERY gruesome form of unaliving someone through their chest. Thats terrifying 👀 Happy Halloween?🎃Thank God you guys go to this cause I still have never and don’t know if I could ever ⚰️
I am very curious about the merch because me my self wear a lot of stuff similar to what they are selling for merch and I’m always being told to take them off and they hold them

(4:21) Yeah, I think the rule where you're not allowed to bring merchandise bought at HHN back into the parks is so stupid. I hope Epic Universe does a Halloween event after it opens next year.
Doubt it for the same reasons Island of adventures doesn't do it
Without sound stages they have to built structures and that's a very complex situation
I also think Epic universe is their Disney like park. they don't want to ruin the immersion
