  • Welcome to Hollister, MO! Branson Missouri's neighbor across the river is a totally different city than Branson itself. Hollister has a really cool downtown area with great restaurants and local breweries. Just your nice normal town with all the conveniences you might be looking for such as grocery shopping, hair salons, pharmacies, Lowes & Menards! Hollister is also the home of The College of the Ozarks, where students can work on campus to pay for their tuition. In addition to that there's also Ozark's Technical College where you can learn a specialized skill or trade. Hollister has stayed alive due to Branson's past success, but Hollister is becoming it's own unique place! With the help of Johnny Morris putting billions into his famous golf courses and expanding Big Cedar Lodge, it's helped small businesses to thrive. Hollister also has a location that's hard to beat. It's not only just 1.7 miles from Branson, but its on both lakes-Lake Taneycomo and Table Rock Lake. Real estate is in somewhat of a short supply in Hollister (2022) so in this video I'll be talking about the history of Hollister and also giving you a tour of the areas and neighborhoods here so you can get a feel of what it's all about! If you're wanting to search Hollister, MO real estate I'll leave a link to some current listings, plus lots of other links below! Enjoy!

Thanks again Jim for kind comments! I'm always learning something new too when I make these even though I've been here all my life. I try to put a lot of thought and research into my videos!

My father moved to Branson two years ago and loves it. I am thinking about doing the same someday or buying investment property. 🙂

Cool looking little town. It's too bad Amtrak does not have any lines running through Hollister. They have plenty of lines running east to Chicago, but who wants to go to Chicago these days?....."no one."

Been to Brandon/Hollister many times. Son and his family moved to Hollister last year. I’m been looking in Taney County. Do you know about Rockaway Beach? I saw some condos in Rockaway Beach that I liked.
