- Here is a video of a recent trip to Honister slate mine in the Lake District where I set about doing the infinity bridge.
Great fun. A little disappointed with the promise of a 1,000ft drop below me (instead it’s actually to your right) however for a nice price of £25 it’s a very enjoyable experience. Great, happy and friendly instructor.
That looked like great fun, I'll have to pop in next time im up there👍
All the best
Bruce
Mate. It’s really good fun. Thanks for watching
Looks absolutely breathtaking 😁😁😁
Cheers James 😬👍🏻
Brilliant.. Thanks for the video recording.. Really showed the experience.
Thank you. I appreciate it. U gonna give it a go?
@@RamblingWithRitchie I am 👍
It looks so much fun.
Can I ask what head cam you use..?
Really enjoyed this John, thanks.
Cheers mate. Glad u liked it
Ohhh boy my knees just by seeing this video jelly isn't the word
Aha. Honestly it’s not that bad
Looks good, not sure I'd have the balance to do it but must be worth a go! Thanks for the videos John, I've subscribed.
I reckon you could. Thanks for subscribing I appreciate it.
I reckon you could. Thanks for subscribing I appreciate it.
Found you on the "wildcamping" fb page great content keep it up I've subbed.
Thanks a lot mate. Really appreciate it.
That looks great, I'll have to get up there
It’s good fun mate. Cheers for watchin.
OMG! I’d have killed you for wobbling the bridge if I was on it! 🤣 That tunnel would have finished me off too. Well done.
I would inclined to cut the rope behind me if anyone did that to me!!! :-)
Haha. We all had a laugh and all got to meet each other at the beginning. I was with a really good group of people and we had plenty of laughs.
Hahaha. We were all a great group full of laughs etc. Nice meet up with the group at the beginning etc
I would have felt conned if i went without watching ur Video Thanks
Glad you didn’t do it then mate haha. Cheers for watching.
Their website advertises this as 1,000 ft ABOVE SEA LEVEL. What relevance is that?!
Haha. Yeah mate. It’s very misleading for sure
Great content. New subscriber here. Keep up the good work🙂👍EOAW
Cheers mate. Glad you liked the video. Are you based in the UK?
@@RamblingWithRitchie yes Matey I'm in Leeds
Nice one. I’m in Darwen, Lancs
@@RamblingWithRitchie yea thought I heard the accent. I set up my chennel to encourage walking for wellness 👍
I’ll sub ya
ooh they added lots more cables to it :-) it was only 3 when i did it ..
Yeah 3 sounds dodgy mate 😂😂
Seems a lot more secure now
😱 that looks so scary not something I could do
You could… if ya really wanted to.
How long did that take you?
Hi rina. I was at the back so took a bit longer than I thought like 15-20mins. Lots of slow people in front of me.
I couldn't do this!
Aha. I’m sure you could. If you really tried 😂
As you i was looking forward trying this but now less, seen pictures and it was as if you were actually crossing a deep gorge, now you showed your not tnx for spilling the beans, indeed a bit of a bummer on it all...
Same mate. It’s what I thought. Still good fun but wasn’t as high as it’s made out to be. However I am glad I did it
Bit mean of you to shake the bridge and scare people. F doing that, nice video scared me right off.
Haha. We all met at the beginning and we were all a great group of people. It was all just part of the banter. I only did it once. The people up front actually did it more than me. It’s a great thing to do and I’m sure you will enjoy it.
@@RamblingWithRitchie No chance I get this weird pain in my balls as soon as I go high even watching. Hahahaha not me m8, no I'm happy to keep my feet in the ground although I did do the wire bridge at Glen Nevis. I've been there in the cold and hight of the summer. Crossed in the summer only as worst that can happen is a plop in the river lol
Wow. I haven’t seen the bridge at Glen Nevis. You got a pic?
Also if you have insta @ritchiesworld
Cheers
@@RamblingWithRitchie I don't do insta m8 but if you scroll through my videos you will see. I think the video is called Steel Falls Glen Nevis but I've been a few times. It's not high and about 30ft long. Nothing as impressive as that one.
No worries mate. Will defo check it out!
Lol don’t look I have a camel toe has to be quite of the year :)
😂😂😂 cheers mate.
Lol at the people wearing helmets on the bus, must've been bumpy.
Haha. To be fair though they make you put it on down at the bottom
To be honest I found this a little dull. The 1000ft claim also annoyed me a little too. It's not even in reference to any of the ground below - it's the altitude above sea level which is kind of irrelevant really.
Much better is their absolutely superb Via Ferrata which only costs 20 quid more.
Yeah mate ur right. I found it a bit meh compared to the via Ferrata. That was really enjoyable. The 1000ft thing is a load of rubbish.
