This is a good demonstration that drums don't have to be battered senseless! Good technique goes way longer than force. A-YEON keep on drumming, and rockin'
Don't think most people who are good with drums (like her) batter the drum "senselessly". Also each has their own style or way of playing. Also these electric ones, I am sure you don't have to be hitting them hard to make music (technically speaking).
Also highly recommend a funny video "every type of drum cover" by Jared Dines. Would make more sense what I mean by that.
You are mistaking speed, timing and precision for bashing of drums. There is a difference with digital cymbals too, you can tap lighter.
You can still hit a drum hard and still be technically sound. It's all in how you strike the head without burying the stick in it. That causes dents and premature wear and tear on the hardware.
what? pretty sure that's part of the definition of Rock: battering the drums senselessly. It's right along there with: Screaming into the microphone restlessly and: Wailing on the guitar endlessly.

It is helpful showing the split screen with your feet. I don't know anything about drumming but have a new admiration for any drummer as the co-ordination required is incredible!

Amazing cover.
Stripping away the vocals I never realized how simple the instrumentation is on this song. That’s not to take away anything if her cover, I’m just impressed by how large a sound evanescence was able to get from such simple tracks. It speaks volumes for their composer and the production of the songs, as well as underlines Amy’s talent and voice.

Anybody watching A-Yeon here for the first time, I tell you, this girl is not only one of the most beautiful you will ever see, with an equally beautiful personality, playing amazing drums, she is also one of the best pianist I have witnessed, plus she can play guitar and bass, she's also an incredible dancer and can sing as well. Just check out her other videos. You can't help but love her and admire her! 😍
Fantastic if only had this technology when was young you sent me deep web dive on Roland electric drum systems. Played guitar since kid started 1974 in many bands alot of drummers none as pleasant to watch few as talented. Video reminded me of good times. Thanks, Rock on.
