Fiji South Sea Island | Stormy Weather To Start The Tour ⚡️🌧

In this video, I am going to show you our Fiji South Sea Island day tour experience. Fiji South sea island is the most popular day cruise island, and it’s only 30 mins boat ride from Port Denarau. It’s a tiny island, but it has so many activities to offer, such as snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, or try to find the long lost nemo. The day cruise starts from Port Denarau. The ticket costs $150 Australian dollars per person. The weather was terrible in the morning, raining, windy. And I was very surprised they still go ahead with the cruise.
The cruise sets off at 9am from this port. The weather felt a bit cold due to the rain and wind, even though it was 27 degrees that day. At that point I was thinking we were wasting money for the day trip.
The high speed boat ride took about 30 mins to get there. No one looked excited due to the weather condition, but more like why are we going there in this weather that kind of feeling.
When we were closer to the island, everyone has to go on to a smaller boat, that was a bit dangerous due to the strong wind, rain and the rocky boats.
However seeing those island operators singing in the rain, it gave us some welcoming feeling, comfort and hope.
The tour operator gave us some introduction about the island, and the activities we can do, but we have to wait for the weather to become better.
The facilities around the island are a little bit old and run down.
Even the weather was not so good, but we still went for the snorkeling and it is a great way to discover underwater world. We were looking for nemo everywhere. Unfortunately Nemo had gone for good, left poor Dori wondering around, and feeling lost.
A basic buffet lunch and drinks are included for the tour. When you are hungry, everything taste good. After lunch we tried out the kayaking. It was fun.
The last activity was the International Crab Racing, it was very entertaining, and great fun.
We had a good time at south sea island, even though it started with a windy and rainy morning. I will highly recommend this day cruise.
