I've had the Ultra for a few months now. Being a larger guy, I love the size of it. It finally looks like a proper watch and not a toy on my wrist. I had the band that it came with maxed out to the very last set of holes. I swapped it out with the Trail Band, a bit pricey, but it does what I need it to do and is actually very comfortable. The gestures are awesome when you get used to them. I also do miss the rotating bezel but have gotten used to not having it. The rotating crown is a non issue. I don't think i would even use it to be honest. I like the watch though. Definitely a favorite.
Yes, having the crown not doing much is not a problem. Designing a rotating bezel is a must though on the Ultra 2. If Samsung wish to get ahead in the smartwatch game they've got to do something different. Great testament for the Ultra after you've had the watch for a few months and you're still happy with it. The new processor is snappy without even putting it in developer mode. This will definitely keep me going until the Ultra 2 comes out. Thanks for watching and for your comment!
Yeah I agree with you I was hesitant to get it too because of how it look on all those baby wrist reviews but on my arm It look fine. And the same issue I have with the normal galaxy watch it should have at least a 22mm band like the gear s line used to have.
Even with all my gestures turned off (I move too much lol), my alarms still turn off without me moving. Especially when I use the phone finder. Any tips for that?
Only thing I can think of is the 'shake to dismiss' feature. You may be aware but I'll go through anyway. There are two types of gestures in watch settings. The one I used in the video was the 'Universal Gestures' with Auto Activation off, but you also have Double Pinch, Shake to Dismiss and Knock Knock. If all these are off including 'Universal Gestures' then not sure what's turning alarms off before time without you moving or touching the watch. All are in settings so I'd check them out in case something was missed. Hope this helps! thanks for watching and for your comment!
Just giving my take on the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra
I like the white it looks so fresh great on the wrist.
Yes devshotdesign, comes in three colours, the white was the most modern style...thanks for watching and for your comment 👍

Samsung knows what they're doing, they're saving the good stuff like the rotating bezel for the ultra watch 2
