Thanks, yes strangely it seems impossible to define a custom thumbnail. Maybe soon once they make brushes compatible with the asset browser I hope.

@@VesporaArtworksAaah actually just figured out there is a small image icon to the right of the thumbnail, just under the arrow, it switches to custom thumb mode.

I think brushes in blender are basically the same data for texture paint, sculpt, grease pencil, so it should work.

I think so, it's the same brush system I believe.
