European Peace Facility. We are all stronger together than we are alone. I don’t agree with many posters who say that Viktor Orbán/Hungary should be kicked out of the EU. Hungary will be around long after Orbán is gone. Better to apply sanctions (I know, too long, too slow, but still) and penalties that hit him where it hurts him the most. Being part of the EU is a privilege and comes with perks. Remove some of those. And fix that rule that does not work...every country needs to agree for something to go ahead. We are not evolved enough yet to aspire to such a working agreement. Like the Security Council of the UN, fix it!

English has basically become the way people from different countries can effectively communicate with each other, whereas in the late 19th early 20th century French was the preferred language of diplomacy and science. Now, it's English. Of course not everyone speaks English, or Polish. Honestly, during this war, I often wish I understood Russian or Ukrainian.
Like DW the TVP is an English speaking language media outlet. It also serves to promote Poland and its point of view to the wider world where English is mostly used. I for one don't speak or understand Polish and TVP gives me insight into what is happening in Poland.
Poland is a wonderful shining light to the world, a beacon of hope and freedom.
