Good CPU for 1080p gaming on high settings and even 1440p with medium settings. That is all I need right now and most people still play on 1080p, therefore a good option and thanks for the video. This is useful for a lot of players out there.

@@malyman316 Oh, nah. It was my bad, later after my comment I downloaded 1.63 version and checked fps and it was the same. Turned out that I just messed up some settings, that's why my fps was less than usual. It's all good now.

DLLS is still a thousand times better than native with TAA ya know? since TAA has the same problems, aka ghosting and blurriness, but WAY worse, take a look at Red Dead Redemption 2 for example, worst implementation of the tech i've ever seen, everything looks like an oil painting made by a 2 year old and every fly that crosses the screen leaves a clear line that takes like 5-10 frames to go away, it's terrible, DLSS makes the image a lot sharper while also boosting fps so you can crank up some settings
This is weird because I’m on an r5 5600 with a 3060 and with ultra settings and rt overdrive with ray reconstruction on and quality dlss, I get over 30 fps consistently. So it’s pretty shocking for you to get 17 fps in your tests with that cpu.

3060 is really a good card, I'm playing cyberpunk at mid settings with overdrive n still getting consistent 30+ FPS ,even consistent 41 in many scenarios which is really good considering a budget card.
@@catalysttv834 actually me and you are wrong. It is nothing to do with the card. It is not the best desinged to switch it on in the CP2077. Once I saw a vid how to do it in the CP2077 settings it turned on and works perfectly!
Cyberpunk 2077 was meant to be played on 2K or 4K resolution. There is a huge difference in the aesthetics. RTX 3060 is too weak for the most graphically demanding came on the PC in the year 2024.
Maybe open stand and low room temperature?But also, I have RTX 3060 12 gb from Color, and it has massive cooling, triple fans and huge radiator, so it’s possible

RTX 20, 30 and 40 are compatible with DLSS 1, 2 and 3. DLSS 3 have 3 features: upsampler, frame gen and rtx denoiser. The only one that is strict to RTX40 is frame gen.
There is a slight issue with this test. If a user would buy a 13900k cpu, he wouldnt buy a 3060 probably. A test with 13400f or something would be better. Still thanks.
Testers are doing this setup only to avoid any CPU bottlenecks and to make sure the GPU can get maxed out if that is the reason of the test (like DLSS and RTX tests). He also has videos with an i5 12400F + 3060 etc. to show different combinations.

Quality actually looks very good and close to native 1080p and even balanced is still okay. Cyberpunk has a very good DLSS implementation, not every game does
it depends on the game... 1080p dlss on CP2077 is actually get special attention from nvidia, it looks good honestly. DLSS can start showing its flaw on other specific games such as Uncharted 4, RDR2, TLOU... basically all game that get you an average of 60fps on high setting, you can always see shimmering on the movement, and blurred tree branches.

This is the best setting for the 3060 in FullHD! USE Upscaling (DLSS)+downscaling (resulution 2880x1620) with ultra settings without path tracing!!!!
Good CPU for 1080p gaming on high settings and even 1440p with medium settings.

RTX 3060 12GB here, ASUS TUF - I can't enalbe DLSS Ray Reconstruction. Geforce 537.42 drivers installed.
it's a coincidence that all TUF card owners complain on it's inability to enable some setting like DLSS? That's why I never choose a TUF card.

RTX 2060 - 3060 - 4060 have dlss 3.5 .... frame generation only 4000 series.
