Projectiles shoot ON the tile, so they can look like they're being teleported onto it. Another issue DECA needs to fix, have projectiles be spawned directly below the sprite on your rotation POV. I died to o3 portals when that was the most challenging boss in the game because of that same interaction. It sucks but you definitely do die to it.
I don't think I'll ever exalt my ATT (and also dmg%, out of combat and drop%), since I only run pubs and never rotate, but I like that they made a hard mode for post-endgame players as a proof of concept.
I feel that too, ill soon have no choice but to attempt shatters to exalt my att, but as a public player i know it may just be a solo mission every time.
At least o3 is something you can always join in on even if it’s a discord group because it’s the one place you cannot be kicked. Shatters may be a debatably easier dungeon in concept but if you don’t use discord then it is in fact way harder to complete than o3.

What server are you playing on? I know you're from Australia but damn. Also are you on fiber internet or plain ol' limited cable? I'm from Canada and when my HP goes down it feels absolutely instant compared to this disgusting latency you get.
I despise shatters. Veteran cheater players keep arguing with me claiming that shatters is easier than o3. Shatters is only easier for cheaters who use discord to endlessly grind their dungeons by opening chains of keys in grand bazaars and kicking all other players out. For someone who is playing this game the way it was meant to be played, shatters is infinitely harder than o3 because public shatters don’t exist, public o3s do. Hell you could even join discord o3s because you can’t get kicked out of an Oryx Sanctuary like you can in a discord shatters.
