This is the best infotainment system I think I’ve ever seen. Fun, attractive, responsive, modern, and most importantly, leans really hard into integrating with CarPlay / Android Auto. I would still prefer buttons for some things, and my speed in front of the wheel, but if I had to have touch screen controls for everything and everything all in one place, this is how I would want it.
Great job thanks!! MINI finally appears not only to have caught up from being way behind to forging ahead. I ordered my 2025 JCW All4 Countryman a few months ago. It has now arrived at the dealer, can't wait to play soon. 😊
Interesting and somewhat different from the norm. But I'm old school. There are some things (headlights, ac, radio wipers) where I want buttons and nobs. Throw in a stick shift and a clutch, and I'm sold.
I love my new Mini Countryman Just as nice as my previous car which was a BMW X2. I actually think my new mini is much more advanced and after you get to learn the functionality it's fantastic 😊
I would have liked to see the features under the first icon (fan). Haven't been able to find any videos where someone explores that option. Having climate controls in a screen seems like a big disadvantage to this vehicle to me so would have like to have seen those options.
Alex, I’ve just got a Mini Cooper 2025 in the U.K. - I’m ‘old skool’ if you like as I just turned 60! So, my main disappointment is that I can no longer use a USB stick for music 😢. I also upgraded to the HK stereo again ( as it wasn’t available for a while due to Ukraine, Covid, Brexit etc) and now I can’t even use my stick! Any thoughts on this? My Mini dealer says that it’s correct - there is no longer a port for a USB stick. I’ve been a Mini customer since 2004 - this is my 12th Mini in that time so I like to change often and trade in with very low mileage 😊. I just feel that not all Mini drivers are young people and I really resent being ‘outteched’ from buying the car. I learned to drive in the original Mini and I just love Minis. However, I was already upset about some of the exterior changes like losing the bonnet scoop and twin exhausts on the Cooper S and the whole rear end! So if I’d known about this stick issue I would seriously have considered going to another Make altogether - not happy!! 😏
Hi, one question: can I use my own pictures as wallpaper? (Not only when using Android auto) or at least change the colours of each mode to individualize them? Thank you!
Way too many bars, dials, sliders, micro indicators, typeface sizes, app icons. It's a visual mess. Even on the simplest of screens it's overwhelming how much they crammed in there. I know circles are MINI heritage, but at a certain point you have to consider user experience. Also, most single screen vehicles have significantly more surface area to work with. I loved my last MINI (F56BEV) but this screen alone would prevent me from having a 4th gen.
IMO, Mini is not really "thinking outside the box", but rather following the trend pursued by every other car maker -- a trend pioneered by Tesla. Mini has basically turned the infotainment system into a gimmick that is no longer function-centric for driving. Think about it -- what does any of that fluff of the infotainment have to do with driving? It is mostly "tainment" and sprinkled in a tiny bit of "info".
If this was a screen I hung in my home or office, I'd really like it. As the principal means of controlling my car, particulary while in motion, it just doesn't work for me.

A very cool use for the round display, and love the theme options.
It's a pretty looking UI. I love it.

I love round screens!

how do you use the self parking/parallel parking feature on this car?
This is such a cool system but I cannot fathom fiddling with it while driving
Test drove it. It was great. Clear layouts and large icons. Very responsive.
Alex, They had to build a bigger Mini just to contain this screen.
This is great for the 4 people that will be buying a Mini Cooper this year!
I’m surprised Mini even still sells cars in North America.
@faheemabbas3965 I wish we still had Suzuki and Isuzu and other cool brands that other countries get.

The focal point of vehicles seems to now be their center stack/screen/infotainment. Not sure I am a fan of this or any other screen dominant interior.
Nice
How about Android Auto?
It’s available in this vehicle.
Apple watch on steroids
It's cool to look at, but I'd get tired of it very quick. Would of rather had more physical controls than a unique circular oled screen
What about covering the third row leg room in the mini? I've heard it's not very good and was hoping you could weigh in.

Wish it had Google built in, otherwise looks slick!

It’s confusing and takes your eyes off the road
No it doesn’t, I actually have one. Doesn’t distract me whatsoever
