- A short ride dated the 18th August on my Marauder to give prospective buyers a first person view of it in action. Not very fast or hot on the acceleration but really simple and enjoyable to take out for an hour or so.
i hate it when people get all whinny about protection, its the riders choice and the only one that's going to get hurt is the rider, i say do what you want, and stop complaining because i want to see these nice bikes but its ruined by people filling the comment section with their arrogant over analyzing.
Nice video but i'm definitely with the others about protection. Gloves and a jacket are a must even on the shortest journeys! As far as the bike is concerned, I had a K3 for my first bike and its not too bad for beginners, easy to ride and maintain but I think the riding position is just a bit too laid back. When your first learning it's a long way down from those high forward foot pegs to the ground.
Ive gone from looking at Yamaha Ybr's, Kawasaki Eliminators and now to this. Would you recommend this for a first bike? Not done my CBT or anything yet but desperate for a 125 cos of the ridiculous car insurance at the moment
i have this bike and it looks great , and its pretty quick around town but has a slow top end (im a big dude so its not that quick for me ) anybody getting a bike who wants to learn id say get one cause its a little badass ...big looking for a 125 so you can look good round town , but its a 125 so it isnt meant to go fast ...anyway i love the gz125 marauder by suzuki ..its a top bike
he's up to the resistance and fire on the piston. Keep it up
I used this bike for a weekly 100 mile ride to Lincoln then back to Norwich over the summer and can say the ride was good. Wouldnt have minded it pushing 70, but I got to the destination before cars owing to over taking. I found this bike absolutely Ideal for rides of 0-10 miles. so eay to mount, fix, maintain, and fill the tank. and looked badass with a decent sound to finish it off.
I have to wait till the end of the month for my CBT but I want to do it now... :( . I'm probably going to get this bike though.
I use to have one of these, it was a very early one on an S reg from 1998, it was a nice bike, it looked bigger than a 125 which was one of the things I liked about it besides being a very comfortable feet forwards ride.
Good video mate, thanks for sharing it.😎👍
I used it for 3 hour rides from lincoln - Norwich. I would say after 2.6 hours my arse started to get uncomfortable, prior to that the ride was fantastic, and dont remember vibrations.
OK see lot of questions on here that i can ancer,
TOP SPEED 55 MPH - 72MPH DOWN HILL
REV COUNTER WHEN PLUGGED IN 1100RPM
A JOY TO RIDE 7/10
HANDLING 7/10
GETTING TO TOP SPEED 6/10
UP HILL SPEED 3/10 A REAL LET DOWN MIGHT AS WELL WALK
DOWN HILL 8/10
LONG DISTANCE RIDES 10/10 DO NOT GET UNCONFORMABLE
ONCE BIKE HAS DONE OTHER 11000 MILES ENGINE GOES DOWN HIL SPEED UP TO 45MPH ON THE STRAIGHT
RECOMMENDED TO GET A FULL SERVICE
APART FOR THAT ITS NOT TOO BAD OF A BIKE FOR ITS PRICE. JUST SOLD MINE AFTER OWNING IT FOR 5 YEARS SO GOT EXPERIENCES!!!
When someone is hurt badly or killed, it doesn't only affect them but their friends and family too. You are right, it's the rider's risk to take but you shouldn't complain about people with common sense when they express their concern.
Dude, exact same result for me. I handed it over to two experienced sports bike riders using 400cc + and for the narrow roads around the Broads and Thorpe they preferred this. Only having limited experience of riding it seems its not necessarily about power.
yeh definitely go with the gloves and jacket as standard. I often cycle down hill faster than this so aren't unused to the feeling of this level of protection. But im in that category of riders who is yet to be hit.
I'm 6' 3". Would this suit me, or would it look like I'm sitting on a kids bike?
Personally i have the K3 model and i've not had a problem with the ride at all, i took it out with a few of my mates on there bikes, all sorts from dodgy Chinese to some nice sports which are 125, we all switched for a while and quite a few of my mates prefer the marauder over their own bikes o.O plus not to mention, on that day due to the bigger tyres i was fine but one or 2 of my friends fell off their sports looking ones with thin wheels going around the same corners the same way i did lol
Dude you should be wearing a full set of leathers if you're going out on a bike, you come off and your skin will be peeled like an orange, safety first
i guess im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid forgot the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!

GLOOOOVES!!¡! D:
Glovitty gloves 🧤
You won't last long riding like that pal. Wear the right gear all the time. My brother lost his left leg doing 30mph. Guy pulled out on him.
Learn to ride safely
big dog max!
SQUID!
slabe !!
Nice arms and hands... not cool man :(
Well, considering the fact that this duche makes probably little to no money, and considering the fact that if he crashes without any protection he'll need substantial care and medical attention and work (for which, of course, I/we will have to pay) I think i am allowed to comment on his selfishness through lack of protection.
Kotapaka Kotapakov lives in U.K., care is free lol
Not to tax payers it isn't ya fanny
