@@Luna-Starfrost selettrice is the protagonist of the archetype,so while not being the boss right away(because thats his version link 2 that comes in the future) she's basically the most important figure of the deck
Vaal doesn't seems to be too generic, they like LP changing effects to gain counters and Aroma likes to heal and pay LP so they go together well, I think that's the synergy?

Why would they be? Paying life points doesnt count as taking effect damage
It's not good cz in Valmonica u have to pay 500 lp on effects and dino make your lp too low .

You have never played vaalmonica then. Selett isnt a random normal summon, thats the boss. Without her you cant play the deck
