I'm looking forward to hearing what you, the viewers, think of the condition, and what you'd want to see with this 4Runner 😄 Timestamps are in the description, but I'll put them here as well. 0:00 - 01:15 Intro cinematic 01:16 - 03:03 Intro and goal for documenting the build series 03:04 - 06:23 Personal background, other projects I've worked on and built 06:24 - Overview of condition and info on installed parts + broll footage 13:29 - Jacking up vehicle, removing front wheels for front end inspection 15:02 - Inspection begins, front end 23:45 - Engine bay inspection 31:29 - Frame and rear axle inspection 35:17 - Interior inspection 40:35 - Final thoughts for inspection
Funny you mentioned that! Just did two of my daily vehicles that way and learned the process. 600 grit and 1k clear for my RAV4 as a first timer, and 2k clear for a Honda Accord. They are not as clear as new housings, but probably needed a better cut and polish in the end. Either way, that clear is thick enough to stay nice for a long time, so I'm happy 😁. For this 4Runner, I'll attempt to get it as close to perfect as possible 🤘
No clue honestly, try eBay, or somewhere on Google. It's likely an OEM one that's unavailable. Had the same issue finding when our OEM Sequoia one broke a years back. Now we run without it, looks better IMO

sand that headlight to 800 grit then put a uv resistant clearcoat on it. pretty easy diy job
