I re-watched this video three times already and had to comment. I am so stoked to hear Andrew Huang and Keeley Bumford (Dresage) using a Volvo car as a musical instrument. Both of your use of silence is awesome before the bass drop.
Great Job! I recognized "Almost" all the sounds & where they came from, off of my 2022 XC60 E.R. But, I Don't recall them being that Loud.🤣 However I know they Amplified, Stretched & Bent some of the sounds to make the awesome Rhythm & Beat... Great Job to Volvo, I love My New xc60. 😘 & Nice Job to Andrew & Keeley (Dresage) I didn't know all that SOUND was in my car, just waiting to be released. 😍
Agreed, omitting her seems rather rude, especially since (as Andrew mentions on his channel) it was Volvo asking Andrew to do a colab with a female producer for this. Looks as if they just wanted to put a check into the "both genders represented" check box for the ad while they didn't actually care about her that much. Sad.
Why is Dresage not mentioned in the thumbnail? From what I understand it was a collab between her and Andrew, not her being his sidekick or something - yet you chose to only mention the guy who has more subs? Not fair IMHO.
Cute! Super cool! But most young people cannot afford to be me! Owner specific tax on my Polestar trim just to re-register is $1,000/year alone after the $70K price tag and insurance.
I appreciate all the hard work the creators put into the production of the “ car sound collection”. But it is a fail if the purpose of doing it is for promotion or marketing of the XC60. All cars can generate similar sounds, that is not unique to xc60. So, what makes xc60 special??? You missed at least 2 parts of the production of “car music”, 1: car design and factory production; 2: real road performance. That’s a lot of “sounds ” you can produce. I know, it is a lot of work.
They've used a very powerful microphone. That sound coming out from the vents is really but really quiet. Ps. An ad is not just showing what a car have but showing the car and make people talk about that. It's marketing and it's more complicate that it seems.
I'm here from Andrew Huang's video. It's good to see him collaborate with an amazing artist, and make some dope music for a fun commercial.
Me too 😊
same, it is really cool
And this one has 66. (likes)
This is a quality ad. Props to whatever agency came up with this.
Andrew Huang at its finest
Audiomodern came up with this idea for their FRWD video. These guys were inspired by it, I assume.
This day was SO FUN! Love how this turned out
A big thanks to you and Andrew Huang for capturing the uniqueness of the XC60 Recharge Plug-in Hybrid!

oops! you put "featuring Andrew Huang" in the thumbnail instead of "featuring Andrew Huang and Dresage"... : /

Amazing plug in hybrid. I lo❤ it ; only shortcoming is dealers are third world people; neither friendly or responsive after the sale .
😍
great commercial!
Slow car for slow drivers. Maybe for grandparents ?

Do you need a young target audience? then there should be a cheaper model as well😂
young rich audience 😂
Cringe
Cars are killing the planet. It is sad to see artists selling themselves to sell more of these killers.
And no - it doesn't make it any better that it is a hybrid. The carbon emissions involved in manufacturing new cars are insane.
