I went to middle school with Shane. What’s funny is he and I played basketball on a 6’ basket in my driveway. He kept dunking on me and pounding his chest while he was wearing my Charles Barkley jersey.
Shane is a great comedian. His timing is rock solid.
Bert is the kind of dad/husband I want to be.
Was front row at your special and it was the best night of my life! Lol
The segment where you guys were talking about guns was really eye opening. For many reasons. First if you don't have enough self control to be confident you wouldn't just snap and start shooting people... Please never even look at a firearm. Second, me personally, and I'm pretty sure most gun owners go to the range for the same reason a soccer player kicks the same ball into the same net all afternoon. It's muscle memory. It's practice. It's to become proficient with a dangerous tool. If you guys have that much anxiety around guns, how do you drive? Way more people are prone to road rage, and driving is far more dangerous than shooting targets. Before someone comes at me like "why does anybody need a gun anyways?" Its the same as anything you have that's a just in case item. Like jumper cables, a spare tire, a hammer, or measuring tape, a condom, ibuprophen etc. It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. When someone breaks into your house at 3 in the morning and decides to take, or hurt you, or your family, would you really prefer to just be compliant, or would you rather stop that situation from happening? I respect peoples opinions on most all things, but don't just assume people who own firearms are dumb, macho, ego plants. Most of us are just looking at history, crime, and are very resposible.

Luck isn't real (send me some luck and prove me wrong Bert! haha) but it seems our feelings about luck can affect the way we act. (it's not so different than god, if you think about it, just replace the word "luck" with the word "god" in that first sentence)
I'm glad Bert believes in luck, because it's much more fun that way. Those stories are great, and they never would have turned out that way if Bert didn't believe he was the luckiest guy in the world, or even just the raffle king.
The fact that Bert is actually the hyperbole champ is the icing on the lucky cake...

Why is the intro so loud compared to the rest of the podcast? Take it down about 10-15% imo. : x Maybe it's just me, but god damn that intro is always jarring as fuck.
I love the intro. Without the intro I never would have given the podcast a full listen. Bert is awesome but the music sets the scene. Ari's podcast has awesome music but probably isn't kosher with copyright. Bert's music works

LIKE I really love your podcasts and LIKE just about everything you do! But LIKE dear god how many fucking times did you both say LIKE!!!! I couldn’t even finish the podcast. I got only 30 mins into it and was LIKE ok. LIKE I’m gonna hop on over to Rogan or Joey Diaz podcast for this week. I’ll try to relisten to this episode again maybe. LIKE Its like you had LIKE Tourette’s and you both made each other’s ticks worse. Lol anyway LIKE I love you so much Bert and I’ll always be a fan.
I used to enjoy Owen, but I just can't follow him anymore. That guy is losing it.
And I totally agree with the whole Ace Ventura thing. I had the same issue with Austin Powers. I loved the movies, but I was soon ready to deck the next guy who said "Get in mah belly!"
I dont think he's losing it, but you can obviously tell that he gets frustrated, and rightly so, in my opinion. He's more conservative and gets censored a lot on social media. It's not a matter of THAT he is censored, but that social media clearly has a left wing bias.
I think he understands the ideology behind the left (today's left) better than Bert, and that's why he's trying to push specific buttons.

My issue with Dane was that the first special was hilarious but the next 3 specials/records were basically the same material and after hearing it so many times it just got old. His act got stale for me
Mike Gast, Jr he was big in high school for me and I saw the family guy episode where they lampooned him about how he just yells everything. A week later I try his stand-up on Netflix and I just thought "this sucks."
