Good to see that stand up you’re also able to sit too! There’s someone out there that will fit well with you working at yard work just don’t give up because the Living God will connect you 2! Some of these young people are not cut out for work merely because they’re lazy and entitled! I watch others who do yard work so for you I can call you a Yard- Whisperer! You do good work and leave yard looking good and jumping with joy! See you on the next yard!
Hey Johnny, be careful there my brother in this Louisiana heat. In Southwest Louisiana (Deridder) we haven’t had rain in three weeks. Grass is beginning to turn brown. .
Key to the work force right now is running two mowers. Everyone wants to have a “helper” BUT truth of the matter is they get burned out on that weedeater in this heat. Let them cut and weed eat the back and you cut and weedeat the front. I know you will burn more gas by running 2 mowers BUT it may be the way to keep help around for a while. But remember….the work force is not the same! Excuses are everything in todays world
@@upscalelawncaremonroe408 also you have to sell it to them as “hey you work hard in the summer but have the winters off or slack up in the winter” They should be able to handle that. Some have to work 12 months of “getting it” year round. They have a break in the winter even if they do work. You will find someone, it just may take you a while and lots of training. Try to knock most of your yards out in the beginning of the week and taper off towards the end. That may be another incentive to pitch to the help about maybe getting off earlier on Fridays if you can knock them out faster during the week. In this heat is hard to expect anyone to work 12 hours tho. It’s brutal. I’m in south Louisiana (Gonzales) myself.
You gotta be built for the heat! It’s a mind thing. I love it when it’s hot, even though I almost pass out all the time!😂 Good looking stripes on that fertilized yard.
By now a person should be acclimated to this heat. I work around little Rock AR and our temperatures are pretty much the same as you down in Monroe, ITS HOT LOL. Yesterday and today had heat indexes of 110° or better. You have to rest at night & pound that water (i add a little pink salt in my cooler.) hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and you will beat that heat💯💪🏿
The lawn mowing field is really a tough field to find good help. Maybe look into offering benefits I.E insurance, 401k, 3 to 5% retirement, legit payroll etc.. Stability is what a lot of these guys are looking for. If you’re paying under the table you’re going to find under the table help. Come when they want, leave when they want, that type. Determine the profitability of your worker, pay him an hourly wage from the profit he or she brings in, use the remaining profit to match the gov’t fees on the payroll, put aside to cover benefits and to match 401k after 6 months. Keep the rest of the profit to add to the business for miscellaneous and savings. This should help you find top notch talent.
@@upscalelawncaremonroe408 is that all you got out of that comment? The comment is about setting up a benefit package so you can hire top notch long term talent. So you’ve offered benefits huh? Insurance, dental, health, vision, 401k match, retirement?
I notice the gravely, any issues with the Bradley’s? Considering adding a 61” to replace a residential zero turn, I run with my 36” Bradley. Stay cool, and get it done brother. 👊
Man getting help to run with me this season has been a problem, the honesty of it all is the last couple seasons has been like that for me... But I line up work and the help just backs out either the night before or the day of work...so what can you say!!
I’ve been struggling to keep good help all season myself. I can handle the residential but these big commercial properties is what puts me behind the 8ball
You have to condition yourself to work in the cold or heat. I don't use air-conditioning in my home, eat lots of raw onions to thin my blood and love the heat. Once your clothes are soaked in perspiration you'll remain cool with the slightest breeze. Keep hanging brother you are conditioned and only 30 days away from cooler weather, so keep pacing yourself.❤
I’m solo i can manage to do 4bigones a day it’s the the detail on some of my jobs that burn me out like headge trimming im good at it but i hate doing it
I agree but my grandsons are the hardest workers I’ve seen in years, I’m 73 and I help one of them mowing and I’m only good for 5 hours max, he goes full blast from sun up to dark 😊😊😊
Them guys that playing with you they want you to give up on your business because they see they can't take it over so they would like to see you quit real talk take on all your can do on your own so you don't let would be customer's 💯✅👈
Thanks for watching, Please like and subscribe! Thumbs up!
I love working solo…if you know, YOU KNOW

I am most likely going to be returning solo at the end of the season. I’ll be able to put more money in the bank and only having to do half the work.
That's a great way to look at it!
Nice job on all those properties . I work with three guy's ( me , myself & I ) and we can get on average 10 a day done.
That's pretty nice, me myself and I!!!!!!!!!!

I’m solo as well! I’ve tried guys as well. They had to get back in the truck with the ac on!
Wow!!! I've heard that!
I’ve been struggling to keep good help all season myself. I can handle the residential but these big commercial properties is what puts me behind the 8ball
I guess we will have to keep looking!
Sometimes working solo is good.
Task, you might be on to something!
@@upscalelawncaremonroe408 I think it’s about time for my videos to start streaming again
I like that signage!!!

What happened to your big trailers ?nice work
Something I'd rather be solo because I didn't have much grass in the truck..
