Such a bloody wonderful show. Terrifying yet lovable villains, silly main characters, *quite the steamy moments,* heartbreaking episodes, beautiful views, silly inside jokes, it all fits together to make a truly great masterpiece.

This is a goated show i love the animation
I'm looking for something similar to WAKFU.
My friend looks for a movie about a villain inside water bucket carried by a dog or a wolf. He watched it around 2013-2015 maybe? He doesn't have much memory of it but he watched it on an Arabic kids channel (so it was dubbed). All he can remembers from this cartoon movie is that this movie is set in the world of animals. The humans of that world are some type of bear or koala or maybe pandas? They can speak like humans can etc but they don't understand the speech of other animals (bc they're supposed to be animals). The elder from their community is missing or maybe dead, the bears dont know where he is. There is a painting of him too. The main villain of this story is a witch who put a curse on the other animals so their speech is incomprehensible and she also put a curse on the elder so that he is stuck inside a painting. The witch doesnt have a body (she lost it bc of a curse?) but she is actually the form of water and is carried around in a water bucket by a dog. She resides in an abandoned cave. the bears set out on a journey to find the witch and defeat her. In the end the curse is broken and the people inside the painting are free and the other animals can now talk. I also remember that the dog abandons the witch in the end and he kicks over the bucket by which the water spills.

They finally going to make Wakfu SUBBED/DUBBED + it has already achieved its goal, but if it reaches to next stretch goal we can it have the 1st and 2nd season dubbed / subbed in ENG + more (ends on 2/19/2014):

Anyone else think that it’s kinda strange how this anime isn’t like, choppy or whatever? It’s all smooth while most that I watch it’s almost like a bad frame by frame thing. ( not hating on anime it’s just me noticing a difference and not knowing the right way to describe it)

It doesn't use any traditional techniques - it uses some 3D made to look 2D, but most of the production is a "bone" type of motion animation similar to old school Flash

I know this show looks kiddish, but the animation is so pretty to look at *_*
The animation and character designs are extremely well done but, yeah, I've seen a handful of episodes and it's is sort of had the geric anime formula;
Child/teen main character has magical/supernatural powers and has to go on this big Journey to find so and so with a group of friends and blah blah blah over the top anime high jinx issues. you know...that kind of anime.
An then theres the English voice acting which is as cheesy as a tower of grilled cheese sandwiches which was slightly annoying...Yet at the same time it gave me a weird sense of nostalgia, I don't know why. Maybe it's because I grew up around the late 90s and early 2000s and watched a lot of anime on channels like 4Kidz with the cheesy voice dubs as a kid. something like that...
Overall, while it definitely doesn't have the kind of three dimensional characters, deep lore and/or quality voice acting as a show like Avatar or Steven Universe, it's still a half decent action anime with an innocent charm to it. And if you have a 5-7 year old child or sibling, they might get some enjoyment out of it.

i wonder why did grougal give yugo to alibert anyways? if he didnt nox wouldnt have known about him and yugo could have been with adamai from the start o.O
It's because Yugo have to be bring up by a human, not a dragon. It's very important to teach him some value and world understanding.
Moreover, if Nox would have found Grougaloragran, Yugo would be safe, because a dragon is really easier to find than an eliatrope, because of their Wakfu.

i can't wait to see season 4 of wakfu do you know what thinking of it they should make this show into a live action film but don't spar any expense go full blown on it I'm thinking of a budget of ($5000,8000c) about that merger would be a good price to put it a because face it if they don't do it that way there probably going to lose millions in the process and the box office will be well invested because dozens of kids will go and see this movie because of fun adventures of the fellow ship of the toefu with fun charter develop full the hole family to in joy and it's going to be a really cool movie in the end and will stay in children hearts for every i think i will give the movie a PG or m rating for this one and it does't fill like the studio just name or call the movie doefu or the other alternative would be yoefu just my opinion on the hole ordeal thanks for list guys...???

Is this supposed to be a kid's show? Or can I still enjoy it even if I'm a fan of darker themed anime?
I think you definitly will enjoy it you like anime, it starts off as a kid show and the first filler episodes are a bit hard to get through but the story and character developpement is amazing and the show becomes more focus on its main story the further you get. I definitly recommend watching it subbed because the english dub is horrible and be sure to watch it in that order:

It's a French production but heavily inspired by anime. It would belong to the Nekketsu genre : the adventures of an orphan boy with special powers. Here the orphan boy is called Yugo. In the first three épisodes he'll discover his ability to make portal and that he must quest for his origin, meet his future companion Ruel, Percedal, Amalia and Evangeline.
This show is originally for kids , but there is a lot of mature themes. You just have to pass the episodes from the 4th to the 9th (and also the 14th) and you will discover a masterpiece.
However, a big part of Wakfu is humor and joke, so if you really don't like this, you can't watch it.
