You could get job easily because of few things. 1. Already had experience in DBA (Database). 2. You had 2 years of experience. 3. You had working experience of Vodaphone. 4. Probably you had IT/CS degree What about fresher who doesn't have any experience? It's not that easy for freshers, even if they have skills they won't be preferred

Learn only Excel and be good at it. Gain experience and opportunities will be there. So, just start. Don't aim for these big brands in the beginning.

Guys barclays heavily focus on maintaining gender diversity so a woman is more likely to be hired by them even with a relatively low skillset. So , do focus on work honestly and don't be dejected if you don't get in this company.

Same situation, in support role for now 5 months with a very good package but I don’t like it. Which you feel 75%, they are just 30% according to real Barclays Data.
