I never got into the Lord of the Rings series so I passed on all of these kits. However, I'm very happy for you and your excitement over them. Putting them in your "movie" room like movie posters is a fabulous idea! 🙂
Haha I used to be apart of those girls that loved Legolas, had a poster on my ceiling of him. Now I know better and love Aragorn 😂 I can’t wait until I can get these myself!
He does look really cool. Maybe if I ever get to the point where these are finished I can pick him up on a destash or restock if I feel the collection needs to be completed 😂 I need a Gimlie to go with my Legolas so bad!

The paintings themselves are really beautiful and I wonder what they look like when finished.

I love all the pictures and I would really love to do Legalos but they are all in square and I have gone off doing squares for over 2 years now and i'm just not willing to spend that kind of money on a kit I wouldn't enjoy and would try to force myself to do, last time I did that it caused me to not diamond paint for about 9 months , hopefully if they do come out with more they do some in round.
I'm a massive LOTR and Hobbit fan and I have to say, now you've influenced me to get Legolas LOL I was hesitant when I first saw it because I didn't particularly like how dark most of the kits were. Seeing Legolas in person is so much different to the rendering online so that's going in the wishlist HAHAH I do wish that they released more of the landscapes. I would SOB for a Rivendell kit... I actually found one on AliExpress but the quality is a little meh so if DAC were to release a gorgeous Rivendell kit, I would whip out my wallet so fast LOL

Hey! Huge LOTR fan myself. I wait listed the balrog one. Still new to DAC! However, wanted your feedback on something…I unboxed one recently that had the new tool kit & perforated cover sheet, but no scratch card. Were the tool kits rolled out prior?
Yay! LOTR buddy! Yes - the new tool kits did show up slightly before the trading cards if I remember correctly. I started diamond painting at the end of July/early August and my first few kits had the new tools already, but the card was hit or miss back then.
Rudy baby will probably be a snack size kit I work on alongside my next big project! I’ll be filming my kit up video this Sunday for the next big one 😈
