I'm a follower of your blog and watched your first video showing us the Konad plates. We bought them after watching you and LOVE it!! Thanks for sharing your idea of adding glitter. Can't wait to try adding glitter next time I do my nails.
That is very beautiful. I was a nail bitter for about 30 years (just turned 33) and I just stopped about 6 months ago. My nail beds are growing out slowly and it's nice to see a manicure on short nails!

@RoseHillScrapper I think it has a lot to do with your basecoat, the polish, and also the topcoat. I've been trying a few different brands and combinations recently, but have gone back to my usual standby: Orly Rubberized Basecoat, whatever polish I want, and Seche Vite topcoat. As long as I use the Orly and the Seche Vite, it does okay. That being said, my friend Christine has used the same combo and it doesn't work for her. I think it varies from person to person. Hope that helps! :)
@JazyGirl26 Not super expensive to get started. You'll have to buy the stamper and image plate just once. And then you can experiment with polishes you already have. Some work, some don't. It depends on the thickness and opacity of the polish. I always suggest that when you buy the stamper and image plate, you also get a Konad Special Polish in white. White is the Konad polish I use most often. However, metallic and chrome finish polishes from other companies usually work as well. Good luck!
Wow your nails look great! I have way short nails and I always thought I wish I had long nails to do all the cool looks, but I cannot stand when I have long nails lol :) but this has really made me want to give it try on my natural short nails :) One question though what are the best brands of nail polish to use with the Konad? is there a special polish that must be used with it? Thanks for sharing this tutorial! I can't wait to see what other videos you will have on your new channel! :)

@angiecammack1 Not sure if they have it at Sally's or not. Seche Vite seems to dry up a bit before I get to the end of the bottle, so I buy them two at a time from sellers online. You get a better price that way. Plus, you can get a couple other polishes at the same time and save on shipping. :)
I love how quickly this goes. If only I had the patience to actually do this, but I am such a sloppy person. I can't eat a salad without it going down my shirt. Maybe in my next life I will be more feminine.
@CraftsbyKawaiiSaru Konad has polish formulated specifically for stamping called Special Polish. However, some other polishes from other brands work as well--for example, I used China Glaze in this video. Most chrome or metallic polishes will work. You just have to experiment a bit. The polish I used in this video is from China Glaze's Romantiques Collection. All the polishes from that collection are chrome finishes and stamp very well. Hope that helps! :)
