E-Learning for Local Council for the Protection of Children 2024

The Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) would like to invite you and fellow Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPCs) members to attend the “E-Learning for the Local Councils for the Protection of Children (LCPCs) 2024 Webinar Series”.
The CWC, as the government inter-agency body for children that leads the integration and monitoring of child rights promotion and protection at all levels of governance, conducts an annual webinar series to empower LCPCs with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to effectively fulfill their duties and responsibilities as the forefront advocates and foster collaboration among all stakeholders, to ensure that every child enjoys their inherent rights.
Based on the feedback and requests from the attendees of the 2023 E-Learning for LCPCs webinars, it was evident that roles of LCPC, Four Legacies for Children, addressing sexually transmitted infections and child protection policies were the identified priority topics for further assistance. The attendees expressed a strong interest in continuing these webinars in the following year, highlighting the value they found in the sessions. The evaluation feedback from the attendees reinforced the need for ongoing webinars to further support their roles in safeguarding child rights within their respective communities.
Moving forward into 2024 in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government - National Barangay Operations Office (DILG-NBOO), Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation, and Stairway Foundation Incorporated the forthcoming webinars will concentrate on these specific topics to address the needs and concerns voiced by the participants in previous sessions.
Also just a reminder, there is no registration required for the webinars as the Zoom Links are already provided but it will be also streamed live in CWC Facebook Page.
