Yeah, what 90s show are you referencing? This is way closer to stuff like Adventure Time, Regular Show, Infinity Train and Over The Garden Wall. I’d also argue those shows are a lot trippier than anything to come out of the 90s.
Don't get me wrong it's pretty sweet and wholesome, but it feels uninspired, the character designs are very strange and not enjoyable, secondly the dialogue is awkward and very clunky, and lastly the overall texture looks so wierd and unsettling. I saw someone say something that I feel is true, "adult swim could've made this," and I'm sure if they did it would be maybe more adult oriented, but definitely more creative and enjoyable im sure. Hopefully the creators get more experience experimenting with VR cause im sure a good child friendly experience is attainable, but it would take some time and experience.
I really agree, the dialogue was fine for me, but some VA’s felt as if they purposely weren’t trying (basically Beyond Beeville), it was trippy but 2/3 art styles didn’t grab me or made me want to look away (Beyond Beeville AGAIN and The Kosmos thing respectively). I honestly really did enjoy the Jester one though, the art style amused me and made me really interested, and I honestly did have moments where I laughed compared to the other two, helps that the music was really catchy and good to listen to, while having a hectic but fun endless mode. I wouldn’t be surprised if this game was CN simply testing the waters of what they can do and how others feel, cause it feels and looks exactly that.
@@keptyouwaitinghuh2113 they need to lock down the aesthetic on Jest it was pleasantly enjoyable, a different yet entertaining concept, and the only character gripe I had was the same as all the others, mouth movements. The lips are unessceary it makes the characters to uncanny, and the Beevile was atrocious with its mputh movement, in general Beyond beevile felt like it was phoned in it's extremely misrepresenting of the talant these creators have.
