For as long as I can remember my grandpa carried the Gerber paraframe and about a month before he died he gave that and his old gloves he used when he was an officer to me. I used it for years. He had broke the tip off of it and sharpened a new one on to it. I ended up losing it and thinking I forgot it in Colorado on a road trip but about 2 years later we had a lot of rain and the knife showed up in my yard. Barely any rust and dull as hell. But I was still able to salvage it and use it once again

Carried both for YEARS! Already loved knives and had collected a few. Been a huge Benchmade fan ever since and own well over a dozen new and OLD models like the Spike and Leopard

That's exactly how I was with my first Benchmade. I spent like 3x what I ever spent on a knife. I never used it. 5 years later and $1000s of dollars later on other knives, it's now my heavy use work knife on the farm.

A few of my knives really stand out as far as 'WOW factor' as soon as I took them out of the box. That ZT 0804CF is DEFINITELY one of them! I'm so glad I sprung for one when they went on clearance. It was still more expensive than what I normally pay for a knife, but the 'fit and finish', the balance and feel in the hand, and that buttery smooth action is so worth it! It's certainly on my list of knives that I'll never sell.

First off, I would like to give a giant thanks to both of you and everyone behind the scenes who makes these videos. I make my purchases through BladeHQ specifically due to the time and effort that is put into the reviews and vlogs/interviews with all of the amazing knifes and knife makers.
I am subscribed and have notifications for both BladeHQ and Talon Sei.
Whilst pondering over what knife Talon should get next, I thought about what could possibly compare (if any) to the Benchmade 87. As I have been doing lately, I went to BladeHQ.com and the hunt was on. Knowing that Talon adores his 87, I was thinking of something comparable so he could also do a side by side review video on his channel. This in turn led me to the BladeRunnerS Systems (BRS) Alpha Beast Infinity. Both the BRS Alpha Beast Infinity and Benchmade 87 have all of the qualities that one looks for in a balisong; smooth, balanced, quality, and fit that niche of "you get what you pay for".
In conclusion, BRS Alpha Beast Infinity VS Benchmade 87....DUN-DUN-DUUUUN!!!
Or not a versus, because both are works of art and a guy/gal should own both.

Talon, I highly recommend one of the Hinderer designed ZT0562 in G-10 while they are still $150. It can handle fairly hard use, is very slicy, the actions is buttery smooth, and the current price is on this knife is one of the greatest values in mid-range production knives. They are discontinued, so nab one while you still can. Sure you can get the fancy scales, hardware, spacers, clips, etc, but far a good all around med-hard user the 0562 usually finds its way into my pocket. I mention this knife to specifically since you like all of your knives to have purpose and be a daily user. I know, I'm the same way. It actually help you control the If you want a safe queen, but and XM-18 Gen. 6, Full or Half track,
