Have you noticed any difference the car after deleting the damper? I recently swapped the fuel pump in my Z and also did a little bit of research on the damper and it seems like it was more beneficial for the old mechanical fuel pumps from the 70's but that they're not as necessary nowadays.

I converted to su carbs instead much more simple and cleans up the engine bay .
How do you like carbs i was thinking of switching

Project cars are really the worst. love my Datsun though!
