So while working on the transmission I noticed I could not get the pilot bearing out. well long behold the automatic transmission for z's have a special adapter to fit the crank shaft that can be removed if you pull it off. but it was on so tight I thought it was apart of the car.

Have you noticed any difference the car after deleting the damper? I recently swapped the fuel pump in my Z and also did a little bit of research on the damper and it seems like it was more beneficial for the old mechanical fuel pumps from the 70's but that they're not as necessary nowadays.
Rock auto has exact same parts for 100 multiple brand and same quality , Rock auto ships same day as well all mechanic shops use rock auto

Widebody cars look like little toys. The thin bodies are more than wide enough and give you that classic muscle car look. If you want a car that looks like you got it out of a cereal box, get a widebody.

@@dbfcars screw paint z always gets garage over any dodge. Real cars of quality deserve to be pampered, domestic pile of hogh dollar.junk can be left on curb. Maybe some ghetto hood steals it and ypu can recoup some of that big money you payed for it,lird knows it is worth half what you paid for it one week ago.

great video... dont give away that auto trans.. sell it for at least $500.. and dont take any less than that within the first month.. much respect to anyone attempting a trans swap... that work kicks your ass but then you have something to talk about that no one else understands.. take your time on the install and try to film all the crap you go through.. people love real gritty videos... no one subs if you do all that work off of camera

i subbed cause you talked about the gas tank needing to be removed to get to the rear bumper brackets.. i just bought a 78 .... i have some videos on it.. i will be doing a bunch of wiring videos... the wiring on that car is trash.. the alternator sucks ass. im a chevy guy and i will be doing a bunch of videos on simplifying the shit i find wrong with the car.. you seem cool and you have a very nice car to start with..
Yeah I saw yours but it should be a fun build once it's healthy. But trust I'm fighting battles with mine the gas tank removal wasn't to bad and getting it back in was a easy. You seem like you know what your doing I'm just guessing half the time and listening to the car
