Loved watching this as I'm about to stay a new job, not in HR but I always love dealing with Talent Acquisition Specialists as I've had great experiences with all I've come across & to hear u say u love your job makes me glad u guys do what u do & do it so well.
I know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can offer me.
@Oakley Shiloh Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
It's quite difficult to explain because every firm/company is so different and has their own processes but quite a fair bit goes into it. We have to consider what salary to offer so we look at things like the candidate's current salary, their expectations, what the market is offering, the business's budget, the candidate's performance throughout the recruitment process etc. We also work with hiring managers to decide on a start date, which includes quite a fair bit of planning if you're doing volume recruitment. Most of the time, we have templates for contracts and we just customise it a bit to each particular candidate by updating minor things like putting their name, address, contract start and end date etc. Those are just a few things that go into forming an offer.
I have 10+ years in customer service. 6 years banking/supervisor experience but a psych degree and want to peruse a talent acquisition role. Do you think this would be considered despite no HR experience??
I love watching career women which is probably why RUclips recommended your video to me. Love the vibe here. Are you South African? (I'm asking because of your accent). xx
Some days are definitely busy in talent acquisition i.e. I've had days were I start work at 7am and finish at 10pm, but it's definitely not a regular occurrence. Audit is a different beast, I've heard a lot of horror stories from people who work in audit and my heart honestly goes out to them. The hours you pull are just ridiculous!

I understood which big 4 u are working as I have the exact same headfones 😀
I'd really like to know what goes into forming an offer. Are you given a a number or do you use your judgment?

I finished my law degree and interested in pursuing HR as a career. What’s a recommended pathway for this?

Thank you so much. I was born in Zimbabwe but I have spent most of my life in Sydney Australia hence why it's a bit of a mixed accent.

5:43 , sounds about right! It's a lot of work though :')
Love the video must be nice to work in a big 4 and knock off that early otherwise for some of us in external audit in big 4 pull 18 hour days easily
