Just started watching Jazza a month ago and was always amazed how clean his hands were with messy mediums. When I paint, my hands are covered.
This video explains why.

Probably a sensory thing, constantly-shifting sensations like paint drying/dripping can be hell for some people, especially neurodivergent people (which idk if Jazza is).
Or possibly, he’s subconsciously trained himself to avoid getting paint on his fingers so that he doesn’t ruin his art by accident… and actively going against that is anxiety-inducing.

That was fun! But I think you could’ve made something really amazing if you’d gone with a different style of art for your finger painting... I would’ve loved to see you try to do a layered pointillism painting on a large canvas. Maybe a tropical bird? It’d suit the nature of you brush better ❤️😁

Man, you're literally the first person I stumbled across (albeit only virtually) that's into arts and got trouble with having paint on his/her hands 😂 I mean, I don't really plan on that , but whenever I bust out my brushes and paints, I usually end up looking as if I stumbled right into an action/body painting happening 😅. There's a reason I got a specific set of old clothes set aside for whenever I get creative/crafty 🤣

God, this is the same feeling and reaction I got when I was in kindergarten and the teacher told me that if I don't fingerpaint, we wouldn't leave class. I was literally crying while my hand was in the paint jar. Then I stopped drawing for a couple of years. I still remember it as one of the most terrifying experiences i've had.
