Please. Keep working on it. Don't let it die. This + Helldivers are so fun to play. I don't see them as competition, but complimentary to one another.
True, I’ve found out about this game after playing hell divers, and its honeslty really fun.
My headcannon would always be:
Starship Troopers as the main infantry force
Helldivers as shocktroopers/ ODSTs
And when the planets finally liberated, corporations like Deep Rock Galactic would swoop in to harvest the planet's natural resources and handle the "leftovers"

I think the love affair with HD2 is ending as the game doesn't have much replayability.
Stip compare this with HD , HD is complete game while STE still in working . By the time this game officially done , HD would have ... Cooldown and stability already

Despite not being a first-person shooter enthusiast, I am a devoted fan of Starship Troopers. I purchased this game prior to learning about Helldivers 2 or even Helldivers 1. Although I had reservations about the genre, I decided to support the early access version of the game. However, I encountered difficulties progressing beyond the 20-minute mark. The gameplay mechanics did not resonate with me, and the building aspect became increasingly frustrating rather than enjoyable. I questioned whether this was the game's sole focus, but I lacked the motivation to continue and discover more. Occasionally, I return to the game, but I am unable to make significant progress. The absence of a third-person perspective further contributes to my challenges. Nevertheless, I genuinely hope for the game's success, as it is evident that the developers have invested considerable effort and passion into its creation. While I have already dedicated over 200 hours to Helldivers 2, I aspire to achieve a similar level of engagement with Starship Troopers: Extermination.
New mastery system really gives you some crazy options too
So they combined the Power Suits from Invasion and Traitor of Mars with the Live Action Uniforms. Nice

You're even too late with the trailer. Plus the game is not as smooth as in the trailer. Dont get yourself fooled.
Wish the muzzle flashes actually looked like that in game. Anytime more than 4 bugs show up I just get sparks and smoke.
Nothing truer to life than flaming a Tiger and cutting out.
I'm getting spread thin... I can only kill bugs and do my part so hard....

Considering the 1959 book and the 1997 movie, Starship Troopers is the original Helldivers.
That looks like NASA PC gameplay cus it isn't anywhere that smooth or visually stable in game.
If you guys make a meme about the helldivers 2 psn account thing, you'd probably blow up a bit
runs as well as a bike with square wheels. Utter shambles of a game but how I loved it. Fingers crossed they get it together but I'm not holding my breath.

I love this game to death, I just wish I could aim properly. As a controller player, I can't use snipers or accuracy weapons because the sensitivity is so off.
The Guardian has a single-shot.....gun?? Sure makes sense...get him purposefully surrounded with a large gun with the lowest fire rate

por muy fan que sea tengo que reconocer que llegaron tarde, no van apodar tumbar a helldriver 2 ya que es lo mismo pero además hay una facción robótica aparte de su versión de los arácnidos, repito por muy fan que sea y que me encante los mod de starship troopers de arma etc llegaron muy tarde. y es una pena

At this point I don't see the game going anywhere. They released the game in a state that felt like pre alpha. The content they added usually didn't make the game better or even pissed people off. The game still doesn't run well and looks and feels outdated. Hell, they didn't even have any form of cheat protection I was aware of last time I played. And now that we have Helldiver, a game with the same experience but infinitely more refined, I don't see people being interested in this. Don't get me wrong I love the Franchise and even liked the game to some degree. Heck, I even got a bunch of friends to join, but they all stopped playing after a week or two. I clocked about 200h when I gave up, when some Chinese hacker ruined the entire game for what felt like the 100th time. I wish that this game could become what people were hoping for, but I don't see it happening anytime soon and probably forever. But I'm not mad, Helldiver is everything people wanted and then some, so I'll just play that and hope for the best.

Helldivers beat you to it, and looks like they did it better. lol maybe in another life. Oh and the sound quality is lacking. Again Helldivers does it better.
Not quite, this game has already been out for a year. That being said though, it is pretty sad how little progress has been made with this game. Seems the devs were more interested in milking their 10 year old game squad, and left extermination to rot. It was fun at launch. Oh well.
@@Brammen007well it's not out though, its in early access and still feels like a test version you show investors to throw you some cash. Helldivers is already released and it superceded everyones expectation. I wasn't looking forward to it whatsoever and now it's easily the best game this years and one of the best shooters ever. People will just see this game as a cheap rip off of Helldivers.
make a collab with Fortnite since you can build fortress defense against the nids
and when you play it youll realise ... it plays nothing like this!, its laggy the animations look awful .. bugs smash you through maps , they show a gore system but it doesnt have one?
