Man this guy is lying through his teeth! I have an Alto K10 2024 and the last tank to tank got me 12.89. On a long highway roadtrip the max I got is 18. Even the service center people at Maruti told me the average mileage is around 14-15. I don’t know if this guy is putting some magic oil in his Alto or has smoked some magic herb himself, ain’t no way you’re getting 18 in heavy traffic. Alto has some other considerable issues. There’s no rear wiper, defogger even in the top model. It becomes hazardous in rainy conditions. Even seat height adjustment is missing. It’s an okay car. But honestly, I’d suggest stretching to a Swift base model. It will be much safer than this. The Z series engine will be more fuel efficient as well. Don’t buy into the Lord Alto hype. That’s only for the hill station roads. In the highways, you’ll shit your pants when you’re between two trucks or even two Scorpios
Swift base doesn't have rear defogger and wiper. Genuinely the new swift body is very weak. Too much flex. I have the gen 1 swift too. 1.3 zxi petrol. It woeghs 1020kgs and bloody strong. The new k10 has the rear wiper missing and that's a hazard in heavy rain and dust. But wrt avg...there are videos of others who have done tank to tank on the k10 and got above 30kmpl. However I'm still buying the celerio zxi+ ags due to the rear wiper , mag wheels and Yokohama tyres, driver seat height. All not available in zxi(except the rear wiper).

Polo is for rich no doubt but not practical. Boot space was small, 2nd row was not comfortable, big hump in the middle. Ppl who took i20 are enjoying
