Seeing the prices of everything hurts now. Actually thanks to your channel you've inspired me to start recollecting. I've rebuilt my PS2, SNES, and N64 collection back to what I had, plus more now. I got the GameCube for Christmas back in 2006 and I play some good GameCube games like super smash Bros melee, wind waker, four swords adventures and etc. Even if one of those GameCube games are expensive in nowadays
I love my GameCube, don't get my wrong. I just enjoy the cartridge games more than discs. Discs can become scratched and unplayable. Sure, you can repair them with a resurface machine, but you can only do that so many times. With cartridges, you don't have that issue. They're pretty small too, so, they're prone to being lost when dropped. (Only time mine comes out is to go in my Switch, then right back into the respective case.)
As an avid Zelda fan and collector, seeing someone trade in an N64 and a GOLD copy of Ocarina of Time for a plain black GameCube and the Collectors edition may have been a great deal at the time but nowadays I would never give up an Ocarina of Time Gold. I have the same Zelda collectors edition he showed in the short in my collection right now actually.
