Polygamy is an AWESOME solution to a modern day problem. There are not enough GOOD MUSLIM MEN for the amount of women available. Allah has given us the solution in the Quran and Sunnat. Polygamy is an ALLOWABLE choice in Islam. Nyla and Fatima are 2 phenomenal muslim women who fear Allah and did the work. Beautiful role models. This family is the most excellent in Deen and Manners. I was just talking about this to people; how the current stats say that 5 out of 10 relationships of any kind one of them is cheating (that means it's more). If they are already dealing with multiple people, and MANY women dogpile a few men already (I am one they try to dogpile, so I reject a lot), then why not just formally do this and build something, not have people having a free-for-all experience.? Beyond that, I was told that being poly means I as a man would have divided attention and that I can't focus and build wealth or true connection if I have multiple wives. In my case, I intend to have 2 or 4 (most likely 4). And then the disputes after i pass on.

Im just wondering how difficult it is for the husband to take care of the finance as well as deal with the insecurities and dramas that come with the multiple wives. Not everyone hu want a polygeny is ready to deal with this ideally. A family needs love and happiness as well. Family should be a comfort zone not a battlefield.
Then all parties involved need to take accountability. To have even one wife in today's time your financial situation as a man needs to be secure, no different for a man that wants additional wives. That is not something he should be seeking out if he cannot afford it. And as for the wifes, take accountability for your emotions and actions. You have no business trying to be a 2nd wife if you're going to be an issue and cause drama for the 1st wife and the family. And insecurities need to be addressed. That is normal, but understand why it's there and sort it out so you can move forward. What you've said is reality for some, but it's not a guarantee, we are all adults and need to be accountable and self aware.
@layahlayah5951 interesting how you mention all parties need to take accountability which is very true. But we couldn't help but notice how you had advice for the husband and also an incoming wife, which was not good advice because it was limited to the first wife's feelings and/or actions which an incoming wife has no control of, however you didn't have any advice for the initial wife. This is problematic. As adults who take responsibility, much of the quality of our lives depends on how we choose to view things and the meanings we assign to them. A husband simply speaking about marrying again may be enough for the feeble minded and immature woman to misbehave and act horribly. That is not his fault and never will be, personal accountability is paramount for everyone.
@himeleo6189 it is not easy for meat men which is one of the main reasons most men will never practice polygyny. More find it easier to cheat or participate in socially acceptable immorality like 'sex workers', porn, etc... However, for the men who are above average and capable, it may still prove difficult because maturity is required in harmonious marriages and most marriages fail. But those focused on personal growth and taking accountability, it's rewards far outweigh the challenges.
