I don't think a lot of people know what the "PP Strap" is. In the US, it's called package strapping. It's very common - we've all wrestled with it on shipping boxes and we just throw it in the trash. After watching numerous Atelier Saison videos, and reading the many comments, I finally realized what it you were using. I went to my local Home Depot and asked if they had any extra - they throw it in the trash too. The manager pointed me to a trash can filled with it over in the lumber department, "Take all you want." I took several feet in various widths and textures, brought it home, wiped it down, and cut it in 12" lengths. I rounded the ends and placed one at each of my workstations. It comes in different textures and I found the rougher texture works best. I also use waistband stiffener. As you mentioned, the strapping and stiffener are also terrific stitch guides when you want a very straight line of stitching and the foot guide isn't the best option. I also use 1.5" twill tape when the presser foot is riding a little too high because of bulk - the twill tape doesn't slip at all but it's not the best option as a stitch guide. Thanks so much Atelier Saison for the inspiration and sewing tool ideas.
i know im asking randomly but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I somehow lost my account password. I love any help you can offer me!
@Jedidiah Pablo I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Stellar sewing skills. I like your method of how to install the zipper. You make it look so easy. I hope one day I am able to sew at this level of perfection. I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing.

Ilove watching these videos because the sewing is excellent as is the camera work. However its not a how to for beginners - this lady is an experienced industrial machinist and she’s very very good. Its the most professional way to make the fly but not the easiest.
Gracias.
Hi dear your work so much clean and perfect I really have no words , Just one request sometimes it’s really difficult to understand what measurement and what are steps to be taken , would be really really helpful if u put these information in captions, I know because of language everyone can not understand ur mother tongue , English will be understood by most , Thanku so much , hoping you should consider my request.
I completely agree. It was a little difficult to follow along because I wasn't sure what peices were even being sewn. Measurements are not provided. Just a little more detail would change everything!!
Hi you're amazing the way you sew. You remind me of my mom the way she used to sew. I so wished I had learned to sew then I will keep on watching you. Be Blessed.
I like seeing the basic ddl5550 in the videos (what most have here In US that have industrial but also the 8700 which is the same machine) I really wanted the 5550-7/8700-7 that has the reverse paddle near the foot but the difference in price was astronomical. Instead I got the 8700 (5550) but added a needle position sensor which is all I truly needed was for it to stop needle down/needle up. Sure I'd love the thread trimmer but if you're already trimming the start of the seam, why not the end too. Saved a ton. Next is a 4 or 5 thread industrial serger. Leaning toward the 5 since it'll do all the same the 3 and 4 plus the true safety stitch. Love all the videos!!
@@tdodo3026 no not yet. Still using my brother 1034d serger. Don't use it much. But when I go I'm getting the 5 thread which does real safety stitches.
@@2010stoof I see. I have a triumph from baby lock but never use it. I only use my industrial serger. Yes, my triumph can do a lot more and take a lot less space too but I absolutely love all my industrial machines. Good luck
Hello, I am glad to see your work. What a great finishing. I need a pant pattern for me from you. I have tried many , but none of this are comfortable. Please help.
Your skill is obvious but it would be so much more helpful if you explained what you're doing. I never know what parts you're sewing together or how to translate it to what I'm doing. I can't follow like this 😭
Hello. Amazing job 😊 I would like to ask you a question. What exactly is the lady sewing from 3:15 - 3:28? Why is the seam allowance getting bigger? Thank you in advance!!

Very nice. I like the sewing of the zipper right onto the fly shield. I'm going to try this for women's pants.
Ohh I think I like this method so much better!! Thanks for sharing! 🤗

I wish their were videos for each step 😥😥
This is too advanced for me. I’m in the process of sewing a fly zipper for denim pants

Agree with you.
Seems like is the easiest zippier installation, except some moments is not clear.
I am agree to pay for tutorial.

If it's any help, the width of the presser foot's "toe" is 5mm from the needle, and standard seam allowance is 10mm.

Realmente "Perfeito ". Parabéns
Verdade,o zíper ficou um show, mas tu reparou no cós? Acabou com o resto da obra.
Me encanta tu trabajo
Its easier and more professionally if you sew zipper immediately after you sew front pockets...👍
Ficou muito bom, eu coloco antes de fechar a calça é bem mais fácil e fica igual essa.
very good
