I like to think that the Pyro basically told the spy if he defeats the pyro in a music battle, he could live. The spy, at some point, realizes he's going to die regardless of the outcome and killbinds at the end of the song. But the Pyro fully intended on letting the spy go, so they both killbind at the same time.
I think it would be cool to show how the health of the spy gradually decreases, like in the original composition, but vice versa. Due to the same afterburn as an example.
Amazing chromatics. For future reference I once saw a reddit thread on Spy's possible instruments and there was a good idea there if you need instruments for him in future, have him whip out a portable electric keyboard with a mask on it that shows like a grand piano or something similar as he does in lore know how to play one I believe. Regardless this was great and I'm eager to see more. Have a good day.

Now if you ever decide to remix you should try implementing the after burn sound and the dead ringer sound, like the spy is trying his best to survive and every few seconds the pyro sets em ablaze just to taunt with em and spy uses his dead ringer and immediately disables it to get back to his fight with pyro

Storyline i made: after pyro gives a lovely little enemy heavy a bandaid on his arm (totally what happened.. heheh.) he notices a large piece of cotton candy right below the heavies arm. (this being, that heavy’s arm.) pyro picks it up, assuming his friend had gifted him some sweet treats! he tried some, and he loved it! he then began skulking around the lands of 2Fort, getting his “candy” from anyone (un)lucky enough to cross paths with him.
If robotnik talks about the taste of hedgehog stew and Teuthida talks about rehearsing for a Symphony unmatched by even kind neptune himself whats pyro's speach about? Cant tell because its so muffled
I can imagine that this song ends by the pyro killing the spy through flamethrower/axe/shotgun, then taunting or monologuing, only for the spy to dead ringer behind him, and backstab. (Yes I know that it kinda ends like that in this but since the sewers are too structurally intact to collapse, so I made this)
