I love the birthday idea. Where did you get the months of the year? My former students always stop by to see me and notice all the changes in the class. Love your vlogs! Have such a great week!
Loving the poster ideas! How many students do you typically assign to a poster? Do you find that one student usually does the work while the other(s) lallygag? Curious about the logistics - I’m going to try it out too!
@@marissag7979 I assign group roles if that group is having challenges! I also walk around the room often and give suggestions. Its def something that we are getting better at :) Some students choose to work alone so that is another option for students who are more on the independent side.
When you work on the Aztec culture, see if you can find the words from the Aztec language, Nahuatl, that have made it into the Spanish and English languages. Just watch out for the word avocado if you are studying the etymology. September went by quickly, and I hope that October will not be too hectic. Take care and enjoy your week.
I would love the link for the Mayan hieroglyphics. Trying to find ways to make this unit interesting. I also love the anchor charts. I am a 1st year teacher learning as I go.
I’m currently a substitute teacher and I love all your vlogs, I love how you vlog a little bit of everything 🙏🏼
