Always was one of my favorite Hendrix tunes. His lesser material gets most the praise if you ask me. His best songs such as this, "One Rainy Wish", and "May this Be love" get swept under the rug. Especially by these damn classic rock stations.
Most of his best music isn't radio friendly.

Just double octaves ie both c sharps on the 6th and 1st strings and the f sharp on the b string. The move up the neck.
