I don’t know I was at home alone and I had this literal reaction. Like maybe I’m a super dramatic fangirl who needs to touch grass and stop obsessing over this series but I definitely screamed and cried a little while yelling shut up at every little thing in the trailer.

I find it pretty cool that Ballora was one of the only well known animatronics not in Help Wanted and she is the jump scare we see.
i might be overthinking this but its also pretty interesting as this new is coming out like right after the ruin trailer, and with ballora being the jumpscare it makes me think of the theory that mrs. afton was the one who restarted fazbear entertainment

I love how the lore of these games is so convoluted that John has to point out how Baby's ice cream is a different flavor than it is in a mini game from within another game that came out in 2016 as if the ice cream's flavor has great significance. And it might even be true. It just really struck my funny bone for some reason.
Which reminds me….What’s Vanessa’s ice cream flavor in the Princess quest ending?

@@rosie_roo We need to just accept that the narrative is constantly changed to subvert expectations at the cost of a cohesive story, and then just enjoy the ride. I barely pay attention to the timeline anymore. Every game and dlc is going to change it so like, I can't be invested in that anymore. Now I just try to piece together the whatever the current game's plot is supposed to be and casually watch John and Mat lose their minds over every minute detail. SB has been the most fun so far in that respect.

Since this is Help Wanted, I'd say that the location is VR (since that's canon that you're playing a game in the first HW game) so it could be that the announcer is just playing it up for the player of their game and not talking to anyone specific.

Sure it’s addressing irl players for a sequel, but that doesn’t mean it’s not addressing an in-game “player” at the same time. (Since HW was an actual game in-universe, it would make sense that HW 2 is one too). In Help Wanted, you play as Vanessa from a first-person point of view. Since they’re doing a whole “welcome back” speech, it makes sense that both a returning character AND the irl player (us) are being addressed at the same time here, imo.
@@bpsara I meant that you're playing as the in-game player in both cases, since they are welcoming you back. In the first HW, you're not playing as Vanessa as it'd make little sense to be leaving tapes for herself to recollect after spending time to break them up. I'd say that you're repeating/reliving the mistakes she made to see how it played out, thus seeing how she was trapped and how she was manipulated when getting the mask and plushy. You're likely just a random character (or yourself) and watching/experiencing how certain events played out for other characters. At least until some narrative decides to actually use the player character as a named character.
Depending on which ending of that game they go with might decide if the player character is being controlled or manipulated in some way.

4:23 .. ive been saying - since security breach came out - that sister location has to be connected just becasue of the elevator (which may sound stupid, but still). in the entrance to the pizzaplex, theres a giant circular elevator thats out of order, and in sister location you ride down in a circular elevator that has caution tape over the vent shaft. like, its been a theory of mine for a while, but i haven't seen anyone else mention, and this moment weirdly just added to it.
This is such a well made trailer. It actually feels like I'm watching a Scott Cawthon original. With how poorly Steelwool handled Security Breach, this is so refreshing to see

Sister Location, despite it's many problems remains one of my favourite FNAF games because of it's style and setting. So to here that there's going to be a VR game based off it is amazing. I hope it has an original story and gameplay and isn't just a VR version of the original.
We can even hear the "shhhht" that Glitchtrap usually does in the end of the teaser (during the reveal of the name of the game), which seems to confirm his return despise what happened in the end of HW and SB

I absolutely love your reactions to these new trailers. I'm not the biggest fnaf fan but there's other franchises that will elicit the same amount of excitement and joy in me and I love watching other people have that same experience. Another favourite thing of mine is when people point out (in my view at the time) frivolous details and come up with (again, in my eyes) wild theories, like with the grate, only for me to be completely wrong in dismissing them. I really hope that this year steel wool will redeem their reputation after security breach and am looking forward to the new games coming out! Finally, am I crazy or is there glitchtraps face hidden in the open vent?

7:00 weird how Ballora’s eyes are blue here but purple in Sister Location. When Baby’s eyes went from blue to green, it was because she become possessed by Elizabeth. Could Ballora - who is pretty much accepted as being a stand-in for Mrs. Afton - going from purple to blue represent how she is NO LONGER possessed? MatPat’s Timeline Theory proposed that Mrs. Afton took over Freddy Fazbear’s, so the color change for Ballora makes me wonder if this is the game’s way of confirming that Mr. and Mrs. Afton are not together anymore, that he doesn’t control her anymore. The fact that it is still a jumpscare, though, could imply that (while she may not be on William/Springtrap/Purple Guy/any other variants of his name’s side) she is still a villain working against the player and is not to be trusted.
And she isn't the owner of the pizzaplex. We also might get some voice lines telling us how she died

I think both Help Wanted games are where you play as Gregory. In the first game, we get tape girl clips that were already pre-recorded which means Vanessa was already under control before "we" as the player or as "Gregory" get hit with the Glitchtrap at the end of the game. But the virus, like Vanessa, doesn't completely control us but is sleeping within us which explains why Vanessa flips a switch to be Vanny. Gregory would be then the under Glitchtrap control sometime before (patient 46) and after (Ruin DLC) Security Breach's in-game timeline. Ruin will be the side where Gregory will be under control to lure Cassie into a trap. Help Wanted 2 is likely where this takes place during Ruin's timeline just under Gregory's perspective in system location since he is "returning" after being under Glitchtrap's control.

Steelwhool reuses their assets in their games, along with stockassets.
Good exemple of this are Help wanted models and props that you can found througout security breach 👌

I have a feeling that Ballora will play a very important part in this game. I think this because out of all the other jump scares they could've put, they put Ballora. I realize that they could've put her jumpscare there because why not. But Ballora is one of the most interesting characters in all of FNAF. We know basically nothing about her, so I find it weird that they put her jumpscare there instead of one of the others.
That's right, and I also noticed that her eyes here are blue I'm pretty sure before it was purple. Maybe they replaced her or let's say replaced her endoskeleton. If so she might get more aggressive in help wanted 2 or more gentle also if they do changed her endo THEY MIGHT HAVE CHANGED HER MUSIC BOX TOO.

"Did an adequate enough job that we want you back... strap yourself in" implies 2 things in my head. First, the second half is implying that we are "strapping ourselves in" to a VR headset. Second, the first half says we're a returning employee of Fazbear Entertainment. This allows us to narrow it down significantly to either still playing as Vanny or, what I think, we're playing as Jeremy: the play tester that sliced his face off after almost being possessed. This could also clear up the difference between Tester Jeremy and Jeremy Fitzgerald, ideally. It would make sense that two different testers were working on two different sections of the game, helping explain in-universe why we have two different sets of games.
