My cousin who passed away 25 years ago in her 80s told me as a painter I should look at Kandinsky. I love him. He is one of my favorite expressionist all time painters. He makes me feel good. I learn from him to keep painting, be yourself, love life, don't stop. Be yourself and love all as best you can.
I never heard of of Wassily Kandinsky before but after seeing his paintings in this video I'm convinced that he mostly paints self-portraits of himself in various ways and in alternating moods in the paintings I saw two or three of which he was sleeping after painting so long and just fell asleep. I don't know if anyone else ever saw this stuff in his paintings but I'm telling you it's all there. He likes painting his work area with an abundance of maybe previous works or ideas all around in his paintings. I even saw a couple of paintings of his wife I think this man was the most brilliant artist that ever lived and I hope that maybe someone else could notice some of the things that I saw in his work cuz it is just extraordinary.
I love his work. ♥️ Every piece. 🧩 I want every one of those works. 🌈 I love the colors. ♥️ 🖍️ This makes me so happy. 😊 I want to do some works of my own. 🎭 I want to paint. 🎨
Kandinsky , one of my favorite abstract artist. Remember an Exhibit in New York, where his art was placed on circular walk up of Guggenheim Museum of modern art. The piano below playing on a track roolls his music Compositions. It was facinating, to move with painting compositions and sound simultaneously. Color playing a large part in harmonies and moments. His earlier realism, transcending into later musical compositions. Some fomats of his abstract language permiating into Paul Klees work. Artist rarely stand alone, but when true in nature inspire others toward new Horizons. That is true Art.🏆🇩🇰🇺🇸🎆🌅Thank You.
I think Kandinsky is all heart and soul. He thinks, creates. abstracts by reactions to colors and lines and volumes. He adds to life. Landscapes are full and more. He puts himself into the art.
I love history and WK saw sounds.. I was totally amazed when i read this and saw a video of what he saw.... to "see" beyond this world is so breathtaking..
Thank you so much for uploading this wonderful video! I enjoyed every second of it. It was as if I'd taken a short voyage to another world or a different dimension.
I like the use of various shapes in his modern art, and I like his different approach to his landscapes, and his use of colors is very good. very well balanced and good composition.
LearnFromMasters: Thank you very much for this monumental presentation: exquisite selections, superb editing, excellent music selection. Bravo. An impression for my next graphics works without question. Again, many thanks.
I saw the Kandinsky exhibit at the Atlanta museum. It was amazing the huge canvas' and how he had every single line drawn out perfectly. It was not done free hand. His art moves me like no other 😂.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
@Tucker Langston thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Um verdadeiro show!!! Estou achando muito lindos! A maioria desses quadros eu ainda não tinha visto. Agora estou vendo porque o Kandinsk é considerado um dos maiores gênios da pintura... fantástico!
23:09 I have this painting at the basement from my grandpa's house where we usually play pool, poker and other games like this. It was located far away from my home town, Makati City from the Philippines.
For me, It would have been interesting to see the images in the order they were painted, so you could see his work change over the years. Here, paintings from the turn of the century to the '30s and 40's are mixed up--I wonder what the intention is? And why not use music from his time? Well, you've certainly given a lot of people enormous pleasure, so hooray. And the introductory Description above is superb!! So rare. Recommended reading!!
Que de diversité dans sa façon de peindre mais ce que j’aime le plus c’est l’agencement de formes géométriques qui nous transportent dans un ailleurs merveilleux imaginaire.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this video. Can anyone tell me the title of the painting at minute 3:08 depicting two females in the foreground and the village in the background? I can't seem to locate any information on this painting.
They are quite complex. There are a lot of references to sacred geometry that he became interested in when getting involved with Blavatsky, Steiner and the Theosophists. This background is really key to getting a sense of what he was expressing in the later pieces.
ONG, MALAYSIA:Kandinsky's Art has to be seen from a clear dot of the canvas as a world of clarity and calmness and then it multiply, disperse, distegrate, transform and oscillate in a single bunch or groups in the central force of the canvas or around the corners... these dots will be stretched and transformed into shapes, forms and even textures of angular, geometrical and amoebic entities that are full of energy and life. All these entities are his fantasies, dreams and places he knows. These entities /elements are separated into two groups denoting world of fantasy and world of reality, world of the visible and world of the invisible and even Russia and Germany. They are enclosed within an amoebic shape or the canvas as a whole. At times, the circles are large with grey colour and a brim of illuminating pastel orange around it, denoting life and black inside and outside the circles as death. The lines, shapes and forms that run parallel, intersect, overlap,criss-cross and zigzag signifying that many things, animals, people and fantasies and dreams are full of colours, life, energy, music music, rhythme and rhythm. Everything has to be connected and linked music, religion, the sciences, the humanities, mathematical buoyancy and life itself. We at times have to open our third eye and use our sixth sense when delving into Kandinsky's Art. This is because Kandinsky's Art works are of many layers.
Awesome paintings. I like to find my specific genre. I think it’s Abstract. Portraits I am not so good at. I like Cubism. I feel I am better at it. I can do landscapes as well.
I do figures and landscapes, still lifes, but abstract art is by far the most pure and difficult. Takes invention and imagination to paint without references
The painter of colors geometrical and abstract. Able to combine from the beginning the three different caracteristic of his style in a magic wonderful art. A sort of poet and musician togerher. First part of his style in the rappresntation of Russia mainly countryside colorful and poetic than the abstract painting or that Kandinsky we all know like a musician on a keyboard playing with colors and figure like dancing through the line and colors. A poet and a musician at the same time with an incredible variton of colors and geometrical. Balancing between poetry and music.
This is my kind. Of Artist. My style. People today would not get mine. Mine has no rhyme or reason . Maybe far in the future may see it differently. I never went to great Academies of Art. So no formal training just observing. Artists in Museums and my Twin who has an Art channel who taught me and plenty of different Artists of many genres was my education as well as Art classes in grammar and High school gave me my knowledge of Art. Basically I am self taught.
This could have been nice, very nice, but it is in fact frustrating: no timeline respected, no titles, just paintings collected from Google searches I guess .. and ads every 8 minutes.

whats the title of the music.so good.
Kandinsky sueña cuando pinta el sueño y cuando le hace soñar que pinta.
Mi piace tanto scoperto circa tre anni fa
35:57 is Paul Klee.
Looks like he had some impressionism in him - never noticed that before.
His abstractions are also based not only on reasonable observation, but on subtle impressions and subconscional findings in nature.
And Concrect Art to...!
❤❤❤❤
Why not music of the great masters of Kandinsky's time? Debussy, Schoenberg, Stravinsky, Bartok ??
ماشاء الله
Anyone know the title of the painting at 0:50 ?
Adore him. The piano sounds like George Winston
