- In this video SA COMA, Mallorca Update: MAJOR Building works & more, find out what Sa Coma is like as the season starts here in Mallorca.
We’ll walk along the beachfront and see what Sa Coma beach is like. I also heard that there were some building works at the Hipotels Mediterraneo Hotel, so we’ll see how they are progressing.
To find out what you can do if you find building work going on at your hotel, check out this article here:

We’ll check out things to do in Sa Coma and walk around to the edge of S’Illot.
Heading back to the start of the walk, we’ll look back into Sa Coma resort, and head on over to Delaney’s Bar on the way to Cala Millor.

Wir fliegen jedes Jahr dorthin. Es ist wunderschön. Grade für Familien ❤🍍😍🌞
Fabulous !
Great walk & information, after the "excitement" of El Arenal, this looks like paradise.
It was!
Great video, love the traffic free promenade & all the greenery. Ideal resort for families. Thanks for showing. 😊
The traffic free promenade makes such a difference I feel!
Thanks for the very informative video. We are there late August 2023, first time in Mallorca 😊 Staying at Protur Playa.
That looks like a lovely hotel!
My favorite hotel in Sa Coma is the Protur Sa Coma Playa Hotel & Spa Superb staff, great pool area & excellent food!
Oh that’s great to know !
That was a great video Alex. Very well made and super enjoyable. I drove down there for the day about 25 years ago. It didn’t look anything like it does now 😮
Oh wow! Some of the biggest hotels I've seen down that way too!
We visited last summer it was lovely..the beach is perfect for families
It is a fantastic beach !
Will come. For the first time in end of July with 2 Kids. Where is better for stay sa coma or alcudia? Where the proche of resort are cheaper?
Fantastic video Alex! It looks very inviting there. Very clean, very relaxing and a beautiful beach. I love Peguera and call it my island ‘home’ but I might look at staying in Sa Coma sometime as another option to see this part of the island in more detail. Thanks for the really lovely look around and useful information about buses and trips etc.
Thanks so much Louise!
Be here in weeks time cannot wait. Be great with my family 🎉
Have a fantastic holiday Darrell !
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun thanks very much 👍
Going there in 2 weeks time 🙌 so i am grateful for your video and the information. Views are great. We are going to be staying at hipotels mediterraneo. I Can't wait to visit 👌😁🌞
Have an amazing time !
Thank you 😊
Thanks Alex. I think I'll visit Sa Coma when I come to Mallorca. Best wishes, John
Good plan John! I'll have a video on neibouring S'illot out at some point in the next few days to check out!
We always visit Sa Coma and Sillot (lovely walk between the two) when we stay in Cala Bona so will be popping down there in the summer.
Fantastic Tony!
I'm excited about the Hipotels Mediterraneo being renovated. I've seen pictures from the inside and some parts seem to be amazing examples of brutalist architecture.
Oh wow! I'll have to check it out when I'm over that way!
It looks like the works are taking place at the Adults only section of the Hipotels Mediterráneo, and the Hipotels Mediterráneo Club for families is currently open. Hi Alex I want to visit mallorca next month but can't decide which part of the island to visit I was in alcudia recently ill have to take a chance at something will keep you updated❤
Anywhere but the party streets in Arenal Mike 😜
Hi, is the beach accessible to those in wheelchairs and are there beach wheelchairs for hire? Thanks
Hello, all the beaches have accessibility points with an access area with whellchairs which go into the sea. I'll be down there in a few weeks. When are you going?
@MallorcaUnderTheSun thanks for your reply. We are looking to book for next May. Our son is a wheelchair user and loves the beach along with his younger sister. We are hoping Sa Coma is suitable as I like the look of the promenade which is nice and flat.
looks a lovely place and the beach area is stunning , we are staying in cala antena in August so looks luke a good place to visit , have you done any videos on Cala Antena ? Thankyou
Cala millor is the best. We going every years
Was there 4 years ago, spent many a night in the Biritania bar
Ohhh, sounds like it's pretty legendary down there!
Glad it's still going!
The Spar next to it did pizza flavoured Lays that were very nice.
is there a bus to cala bona from alcudia
Not one that I know of - you’ll have to change along the way. I think the quickest way is via Palma or change in Manacor and Inca and I don’t recommend that trip. I would hire a car for a couple days if you were considering it.
And I have a videos "The winter Sa Coma.".... If you want to see...😅
