Idk why but when i fly on this aircraft i love the sound of it taxiing
The Saab 340 was even a better sound but unfortunately not many remain in service around the world. The last Saab 340 I flew on was Pen Air in Alaska a couple years ago and before that was a northwest Saab 340 around 2010 or 2011 out of Minneapolis
A meatier box fan
@@tritontransport I was on a Saab 340 recently on Cayman Airways
@@thecaynuck the most recent one i I’ve seen in service was on the tarmac in Antigua. I can’t recall what the carrier was.
Almost 6000HP makes this plane accelerate very hard. Perhaps the only one aircraft with similar acceleration is Embraer ERJ-145.
I like how it actually has propellers
Hey. Awesome clip of the takeoff. Do you mind if I can repost this on my channel. I will credit your channel in the description.
That plane has the same engines as the Canadair CL-415 Super Scooper
From 4:17 to 4:28, Going to miss hearing that sound for the past 20 years I’ve traveled on the Horizon/Alaska dash 8 Q400.
Yep 😞. I have a funny memory I flew a shuttle flight to PDX front row seat, right by the door facing the FA, spent about an hour there interviewing some one in the airport, then flew back to SEA after only being there a total of maybe 1 and a 1/2 hours. Ended up being the same plane and flight crew and was in the exact same seat 😂. The FA was concerned and told the pilots “the same guy is in the same seat from our arrival here” 🫢. He said yeah that happens a lot on this route don’t worry about it 😂
God I just love the sound of that engine throttle when the props dig in!
I've always wanted to fly on a bombardier, in 2019 i was planning on doing it in 2020 with Air baltic, then covid hit, meaning we couldn't fly. I thought i'd be able to do it later on, unfortunately in 2020 Air Baltic retired their Q400's and i never got the chance to fly one.
There's air Canada, westjet encore, porter, luxair, and ethiopian airlines. I'm sure there's a few others out there
@@bojanglesthewizard8875 Yes, but unfortunately none of them fly here, the closest i could get would probably be Luxair, airbaltic used to operate here daily with a few flights and it would've been really easy and cheap to get onto one
Love that sound on takeoff
私もプロペラ機✨
大好きです😘
the dash 8 goes is fast when taking off
how come there is lots of alaska airlines in seattle airport?
Because Alaska airlines is based in Seattle its the gateway city to Alaska ...
Seattle is a hub for Alaska Airlines.
