Being an excellent source of calcium, milk can
be used as fertilizer once a month.
How to proceed? By creating the aforementioned solution of equal parts water and milk (or by
using only skimmed milk) in order to spray the liquid on the leaves of the plant, or by
pouring it around the base of the plant.
Milk is a natural insecticide:
The aforementioned solution of water and milk (or, alternatively,
default, only skimmed milk) is useful for
spray plants for another reason:
the sugars naturally present in milk are
a poison for soft-bodied insects, a
category in which for example also lice
plants (aphids).
Therefore, milk can also be used
as a natural insecticide, in order to protect its
cultivated plants.
Milk prevents fruit from rotting:
Skimmed milk or a solution of equal parts water and
of milk mentioned several times, can also
be used to irrigate, without too much frequency
(once a month may be sufficient), the plants which are
