**IS ROBOCRAFT WORTH PLAYING?**
Well, yes. They almost completely removed any grind the game used to have, which makes it very player friendly. It may be hard for new players to understand what is going on, but they got a lot to experiment with.
It's pretty good.
Easier access means more stick, mech hovers, at-ats, and lowering the player base's age even more

Yeah, Kinda same. I put So much time in this game to reach lvl 100 (1.500h) and I had every Single part you could have. After the Update I lost everything. Even wrote freejam an E-Mail, they never replied. I am So pissed as I saw this....
im lvl 179. It took me 3 years to grind for legendaries. Specially because of that crate shit. :/
I like the evolution of the bot. Started as an SMG tank and ended up as a Chain/mortar copter.

I don't feel like it was pay to win, but it was decently hard to achieve stuff. (And yeah it's my opinion, i don't care about any stupid whining, why I am wrong)

As a man who used to play since the beginning of Robocraft's development, I can honestly say "What is happening right now, first they had the tech tree then they got rid of it now they brought it back? The grind used to not exist then they had lootcrates then getting stuff is easy? WHAT IS HAPPENING!?"

i think there just trying to experiment with the formula cause there attempting to go pureley free to play whilst still maintaining a proffit and revenue stream so i think we will see alot of tweaks to the formula
the current system is a good start the game ultimatley is free to play vip is cheap if you wanna go that route dont pay monthly give them the 30 bucks for lifetime without it you wont get tooo much of a benefit youll just unlock your items faster and level faster but thats only double points so you just have to play 2 matches for every 1 match a premium has to pay
where there main income resides is in cosmetics the cosmetic parts like heads and masks and some weapon skins are only available though using cosmetic credits which do cost but offer no benefit to your bot what so ever
but there trying something new that benefits the community so there will no doubt he growing pains for a start perhaps slowing down the progression a tiny bit id say alot as i unlocked my high end stuff quickly but i had a boost from being a player and already having a bunch of top tier items already which automatically unlocked on the tree
mayby robocraft should go to the pay once model.

When how you built you actually mattered between life or death? Cuz each block needed to be connected with the pilot, or else a huge chunk broke off. When shooting with lasers actually mattered where you tried to severe limbs of the craft. Where if your pilot seat dies you die. When bombers could actually use hit and run tactics. When snipers were the main way to shoot down flyers. When this teamwork of rock paper scissors was included. Also when healers were actually weapons.
Now everyone is everything and that's not the robocraft I enjoyed
What game are you talking about? It sounds really cool... It would be a shame if there was a game like that and the developers would completely destroy it!

A recent update did tone down the exp for high scores a bit though.

I played Robocraft from 2014 to the end of 2017 (~400 hours). 187 levels, grinding, collecting and so on.
And now you can achieve this in no time (3 days maximum)...

I really want a game like Robocraft or crossout without that absurd amount of fun destroying grind. An fullprice title where you don’t have to grind.
But now the game is so broken, that the removing of the grind doesn’t matter...

You have to remember that the grind will be harder from a new players perspective compared to how fast an old player can level up

Is it still worth playing for someone who is already level 100+? Will i be at a disadvantage now compared to newbies? Will my Legendary-free inventory actually see one? We'll see. *Edit*: Consensus after playing a few hours: It's not worth it.
I didn't spend a single robit through my playtime, but my account could afford like 4 legendaries from the combined robits (without selling anything, just from matches) so it should not take you long to get on your feet :)
EDIT: I did not spend longer than ~7 hours total playing on the account
I was so surprised at how easy it was for new accounts to unlock everything and get rich. I mean, I knew I'd be at a disadvantage at level 120, but I never imagined it would be like this.
The problem is that Robocraft no longer rewards you for experimenting. There is so little thought put into building, buying and selling parts to try out different combinations only makes you poor. You could put all your money into shotguns, never spend on anything else, and you'd win the game for the rest of your life.
I miss Legacy Robocraft.
level 100... lol yeah levels come easy in the new version i jumped from 50-150 in 2 days
im not really sure its more fun between freinds cause you can all sit around coming up with crazy hich cpu builds and have some fun with no part restrctions
buuuuut something seems a little unballenced in the mechanics where legendary weapons bareley do any damage and huge high armour bots now get taken out by bots using entry level weapons who seem to hit much harder
also now its way more team based before you could all run off and go fight your own little battles contributing to the teams overall score now i find that staying grouped and working together benefits you greatly especially if you can ballence out your team well healers benefit greatly too when you stay grouped cause they can sit off behidn everyone else being covered by the rest of the team and patching up the squad as they need it

yea... the new player experience looks a lot diffrent now, i had to play at least 15-20 games JUST to get a T3 prop

so ur telling me that ive lost 400+ hours for 80 lvls before 2016, and now you can get to this lvl in this much time? really? this game is just dead to me. learning how to triforce, having only 1 type of weapon at a timr, no autoheal, the old megabot vs 10+ low tier bots, the old cap towers where you had to shoot it to cap it.. i miss all of that from the good old days

also SCP 3327
SCP-3327 is a Cold War-era bunker outside Syktyvkar, Russia. The above-ground portion is a small concrete building typical of bunker entrances at the time. Inside is a ladder leading downwards into the origin room.
The origin room is bare except for the entrance ladder, which is placed against a corner of the room, and a single pedestal in the center of the room. Upon the pedestal is a large mass of heavily damaged machinery of currently unknown function (designated SCP-3327-1).
At the center of each of the four walls is a single doorway, which leads into a neighbouring room. All rooms thus far explored are identical to the origin room, but without the entrance ladder or the device in the center of the room. There is no observable limit to the number of rooms. Four autonomous drones have been deployed from the origin room to explore the rooms, each in a different direction. At the time of writing, the drones have traveled over 1,000,000 rooms from the origin without any change in surroundings.
All rooms in SCP-3327 occupy the same geographical area as the origin room according to all known global positioning systems. However, other devices such as communications systems lose function at great distances as expected. Furthermore, any communication between the outside and inside of SCP-3327 deteriorates abnormally quickly as the distance from the origin room increases, with communication between inside and outside being effectively impossible at roughly 100 rooms away from the origin.

No grind - but that's kinda good though
no building - all the bots in the video were made by me
no tri-force - all the bots I made used rodforcing and damage redirection methods
no t-sticks - they still kinda exist for tesla, so if you like those good for you
drones - I didn't see any in my playtime here, but they still exist, they seem less good than usual though

1. That's good, but players don't have time to know the game better and getting some weapons and parts too early.
2. Building skill means much less than it meant two or three years ago. You don't need to balance your crafts, and so monoliths are just as effective as hardly tri-forced builds. (Actually you still need rodforcing on aircrafts, but rail's penetration and splash mechanics are making many types of tri-forcing useless). Idk will you understand me, i'm bad in english.
3)Anti-triforce mechanics. Meh.
4. But others are dead, because they aren't using camera control and so they are losing stability under fire. (Also i really dont like strafe drones, that's not the technological builds i knew... camera control can make every crap flying)
5) Some guys whined that ground units are too slow. Now they are just a little bit slower that air, and *i think* it's kinda wrong

SandlyCut ™ i don't like really hard grind, but grind in RC has never been hard. But players had time to learn the basics of building, tri-forcing, balancing, tactics etc. Now they can get everything in one day, but they don't know how to play.
This way we are getting legendary weapons on one-shot builds and guys rushing straight to enemy team, then dying and rushing again. They have no time even for learning basics of this game.
just simple remove damage bosot or nerf it and nerf shotgun mortal :) then they will learn
i remember when i got my first legendary, 2 monster wheels. I putted them in all my robots.

I think it’s kinda better like this than it was with crates
Crates->get about 1K robots per match including selling stuff -> Can’t get good weapons -> can’t get good at using good weapons -> can’t get good crates -> cant get many robots
This system -> get good weapons super easy -> get good at good weapons -> get better weapons

in the current state of the game, you don't need much time, cuz you get levels so fast in the beginning.
I also recently made an alt.. it's super fun but I didn't go for legendaries right away, but I've got a nice chunk unlocked after a few days

I'd imagine new players would actually progress quite slower than Gromek did mainly because they are still getting used to the game.

I'm level 80 and I take forever to level up (2 games is a lot okay!?) and I had like 1 gun of most of the epics so I don't get the free parts so I have to grind for them. Is it worth making a new account but revisiting every so often due to having cosmetics etc on there?
