I actually went back and re-watched the video and noticed that each girl calmly ate and ignored the other when they were crying. Funny how they really know how to push each other's buttons. Alicia you are so smart not to try to handle both girls trying to walk down the stairs. Safety first...wait until Walt is there to assist. Sometimes, ive seen parents laugh at kids when they cry, possibly in an attempt to get them to stop. I feel like that invalidates their feelings and teaches them feelings are in valid or wrong, etc. You acknowledge them but move on to something else with other baby. Then they learn they're ok. First, please never worry about upset baby girls when filming. Upsets are a part of being human. LOVED banana theft. After all, they see mom share...so naturally it seems ok..right? But you reacted quickly to prevent a Guinevere banana meltdown. Loved Guinevere's close attention to toast...so adorable. Bless them as they adjust to the world..and bless you as they start to see and say.."mine". Let the disputes begin..lol (you might need to move chairs further apart).
Guinevere used to take things off Anastasia's plate and I've been contemplating moving them a little farther apart, but I do love when they give kisses to each other and they need to be closer for that😆❤️❤️

Teachable moment:When you see teasing between the twins, it’s an opportunity to let them know it’s not ok. Teasing is a form of bullying. If they’re old enough to tease, they’re old enough to know it’s not nice. You’ll thank me down the road. Sibs teasing each other makes for a lot of crying and, again, you’re teaching them to be nice. GUENEVERE is very astute, she noticed mom only gave her half the strip of French toast from her sister, no fooling that little girl, Anastasia seems to love to hydrate her skin, they are so precious to watch, never know what’s next !
@theresacormier3253 they've been in the same room as their sister since birth and never in a different room so they've heard each other cry since day one😆 They even sleep through their sister crying😅 Mom isn't so lucky to be able to sleep through a crying baby, but it does make it easier when they don't both wake up😅❤️❤️

You have such a cheery & easygoing way with them. I know it'd sure make me feel better! I've noticed, over the years of working with little ones, how they often just keep crying when they're tired, even after they forgot what they were crying about! Once their attention was diverted, they both went back to what you had offered them in the first place - & liked it! K8ds can be ao.funny that way. Whoever said feeling bad made us more reasonable?

Teachable moment:When you see teasing between the twins, it’s an opportunity to let them know it’s not ok. Teasing is a form of bullying. If they’re old enough to tease, they’re old enough to know it’s not nice. You’ll thank me down the road. Sibs teasing each other makes for a lot of crying and, again, you’re teaching them to be nice.

@theresacormier3253 they've been in the same room as their sister since birth and never in a different room so they've heard each other cry since day one😆 They even sleep through their sister crying😅 Mom isn't so lucky to be able to sleep through a crying baby, but it does make it easier when they don't both wake up😅❤️❤️

Awww, bless.their sweet baby girl hearts I can the remnants of their colds...fatigue, stuffy head, that drain on their system & patience. That's just how i always feel when I'm sick. You have such a cheery & easygoing way with them. I know it'd sure make me feel better! I've noticed, over the years of working with little ones, how they often just keep crying when they're tired, even after they forgot what they were crying about! Once their attention was diverted, they both went back to what you had offered them in the first place - & liked it! K8ds can be ao.funny that way. Whoever said feeling bad made us more reasonable?
