I still like my cake best with NO frosting however, I do love the whipped cream frosting they use but not buttercream-it is way too sweet. I and also my girls never liked cheesecake until we were adults-I think it was the texture. Unfortunately, I LOVE it now so much mainly just plain cheesecake or cherry but none of the flavored or fancy kind~ Guinevere is eating hers so daintily while Anastasia popped the entire thing in her mouth! Usually there is a chocolate fudge frosting on the hot milk cake that my mom makes, but she left the icing off because there was so much sugar! And I took the cherries off the cheesecake because they're choking hazards, but I left the syrup on😅 🩷🩷
@@aliciabarton3497 Strangely enough for a girl with plenty of padding, I am not fond of chocolate-except for like Sees Candy I think in the east its called Helen Grace or something- but I don't ever buy them for myself. About 2 weeks every year when 'winter' starts, I eat a snickers every day for those two weeks-probably for energy but then I''m done for the year with chocolate! The Milk cake sounds good because you said it was very light and that's the kind of cake I like best. Angel Food is my favorite then good old white cake with whipped cream. Now I'm hungry! LOL!
