🔴 Summary: In the dead of night, Donovan drives with his girlfriend, Lucy and several friends to a secret rendezvous in the woods. They believe they are meeting a "healer" who can cure Lucy's cancer, but they grow suspicious when a booby-trap in the road forces them to stop short of their destination. when the driver gets out to investigate he is brutally killed and dragged from the car. Terrified, the remaining friends run for their lives to a deserted cabin, dodging the paramilitary commandos that hunt them as well as the deadly creatures that slaughtered their friends. Why do people being chased through the woods always fall for no apparent reason? And why if they somehow make it to a vehicle and find the keys, it never starts when there was nothing wrong with it previously?
Like I texted the plot's weird, it's got no sense at all.

Great story line. This script could be amazing with Hollywood and a couple hundred million dollars behind it. Still worth a watch though.

Movie reminded me of hunting in the back country of Montana with a friend of mine. We had found some deer tracks that split off. So we decided I would follow one set and he the other . I must have walked maybe half mile and then heard my friend yelling and shooting off his rifle. I turned around and walked fast following to where he had been heading. I found him lying on his side not moving . I bent down and said Dave you alright. He did not move so I turned him on his back. My anxiety was high I was shaking because half his face was gone including almost half of his lower jaw. I checked for his heart beat and he was still alive but now gurgling threw his throat with half his face gone. I could not get the words out to make him feel better like you will be ok. Because he had to know if he could hear me at all he was not going to live. He then stopped gurgling and was dead. I looked around for prints of a grizzly or any type of animal not just the deer prints. There was none. I did not want to leave his body but knew if I made a type of sled with pine branches and got him out to the truck. Then I would have had the Sheriff be thinking maybe I killed him. So I got to where I had service called 911. Waited by my truck. Sheriff came and deputy and Fish and Game. I lead them back to the body but now my friends head had been torn off the body. And was hanging on a branch of a tree and the eyes were hanging out by the main artery that goes to the eyes. By this time I am thinking good thing I never really had gone hiking in the back country and that I just made this whole story up. 😂

@@Nanas-b1c I am glad you enjoyed it. I like making up stories. Remind me of being at work before retirement. I would make up stories to a coworker he believed. Another cower had a lazy eye. A work friend asked me what is with Marks right eye. I made up a story that as a kid Mark had gone in a dumpster but did not know they had thrown out some rat poison. That he got it in his one eye. And they had to remove it and he now has a glass I. We were working on vacuum chamber at Raytheon Research and were up on the messanen changing the big o.ring. Mark was cutting threw down below to go to another area. I told my friend their is Mark with the glass eye. I went to the railing and yelled down. Hey Mark I see you. My friend says cut the shit. Don't say anything Mark looked up to to say hi back. I then started rubbing my right eye and yelled out my eye I got something in it. My friend working at me backs away with a freaked out look on his face. I said see you later Mark. My friend up with me says your a real jerk guy has a glass eye and your making fun of him. He really believed Mark had a glass eye. I started laughing. My friend says not funny man. I never did end up telling him I had made the whole story up. I used to make up all kinds of stories for fun. Just the look on people's faces believing some made up story I cannot help laughing about it. For me the stories are the same effect people try and get telling kids of the boogie man. Or a ghost story.😱😂

Para mi, la película no sirve no tiene coherencia ni congruencia, la trama no se entiende, solo que es un hombre lobo y ya, el principio y el final son absurdos, un OSCAR jamás lo va a ganar.
It is an ok little movie with a cute twist. No need to hate on it, it’s not a Hollywood blockbuster but entertaining in its own right.

Aimless movie. There is not any link in the plot. While the army personels on the watch the people succumb to the unseen beast. Its growling is heard but what is it like is not known to the spectators.
To me it is a waste of time.

Well if I want to make a horror movie it looks like all I have to do is have almost no lighting and hire some drunk to howl at the moon. Then get some drama queen kids to over act. Oh well I got a bit of shut eye.

You expect to have a storyline, conflict, then resolution . I got the conflict but no resolution.
Nothing was clear or wrapped up.
The story dragged, fragmented, then attempted to conclude the worst way possible.
Great editing professionally shot but the story was insufferably weak.
I don't know where comments about the film being from 1980-1970 comes from, the 4x4's their driving are not from those eras, they are relatively modern. Having watched the film and checked the credits, it was released 2013.
Personally I don't rate this film, too much negative to list, wasted enough time on it.

Critical scenes have been cut....when Donovan runs back to the car we hear the werewolf behind him as looks at phones, that werewolf is his mother I believe, hence he is unhurt. The explanation as to who is Gomez is also missing...

Ho hum, pretty boring to be honest. The storyline was a bit weak and you didn’t get not even one Tincy Wincy glimpse of the werewolf. Special effects budget must’ve been zero. I managed to get to the end by skipping a few bits (maybe that’s where werewolf popped up LOL 😂😂
