I have both the single and double magnets. For my fast feeds I use the double but the double magnets don't fit on the oster octanes. That's when I use the single magnet. it fits perfectly. Sometimes I don't want to take off too much hair at one time. That's when I use the Octanes with a plastic guard.

I appreciate the double magnet comment, definitely noticed it doesn’t blend from the 1 to the 2. I was wondering if it was just my technique. Problem is the single magnet fits on more of a variety of clippers.

Brandon Applying some product in your hair to give it texture then tie the hair loose to retain the texture
Brandon Cormier nah his hair is not straight, it's wavy but not too curly, just grow your hair long enough to tie it loose
When your hair is long enough probably layer it and add a bit of texture apply some oil or product I recomend jamaican black castor oil it make your THICK. He has some blonde highlights so it look better.

Im trying to master this style of haircut but the hardest transition to learn for me has been to remove the bulk from the ridge at the top of the head, I have to train myself to go up to the ridge it seems small but a major adjustment for me

I am not happy with my Andis single magnet nano silvers, I have gone thru 2 sets because the adhesive used does not stand up to barbicide. In addition to the #1 gaurd Does not blend to the #2. I heard that the 2 magnet gaurds are back on the market.

hey Chris is it normal when you look at a fade from a distance that it looks like there's a line? i noticed this after a fade, from close up everything looks good.
Manuel Loza the blend maybe squashed?? Starting the initial bald guideline abit lower n spreading it out could reduce a line from a far view or possibly making your 2nd guideline half blade abit thicker than an inch

Bro you make fades really good i like to see how you blend in the hair yet it's hard for me. I tried it but the guide line does not disappear on the lower part of the head only at the top where i use #2guard
What I mean by "common looking " folks ,is those of us who as "canvases" don't have the "physically refined features", that help the overall haircut stand out.Now I Know that this issue that I am mentioning may be directing totally against the grain of things, so to speak.But leaning towards the realities of life ,everyone doesn't have clear "flawless "complexion or perfectly dense head of hair including beards.The issue go beyond the fact that we are not perfectly symmetrical so one side of us looks one way and the other another way.Thats why we say "take a picture of my good-side"!Lol!

Ok. Idk maybe my perspective is off. I have videos on every texture, use every clipper, every head shape, hairline, hair color except red or blonde still working o. That lol.I try to explain how to attack challenges in haircuts. Now I may have not done every imperfect client.. but I've definitely done fine to coarse hairs. Oily and dry scalps, Receding and light hairs. So again I'm not getting your request unless your new to the channel. These are real clients of mine of which I've done 50 different tutorials, not "showcases". If it were showcasing I wouldn't do voice over, I would show every side and angle of the cut, and I would just make it a 5 minute highlight tape with just background music
