A drug issue like this is more of a failure of policy. As far as the federal reserve goes, that's more of a matter to be handled on the federal level rather than a state level, though I do agree that the federal reserve is crazy. Let's not ignore the data we have in front of our eyes, we know that homeless people have a higher crime rate than people with homes. So let's think about some major factors that contribute to homelessness. How about substance abuse? There's no denying that they are in fact linked, why not pass policies that will reduce this factor of homelessness? And of course, overregulation certainly causes an added cost for housing construction. Whether that be oil and energy pricing that affects transportation of materials, licensing and permit constraints that lower the supply of homes in the market, or things like rezoning that take up far too much time to even make land built on to begin with. I don't see any good reason why you would oppose something like reducing unnecessary regulations that only serve to increase costs with no clear benefit.

I worry about her stance on abortion, LGBTQ rights, and the ability to support all Oregonians not just republicans. Can she be trusted? if she can good, she'll get democratic support, however if she can't or she goes back on her word, she'll regret her words in due time and eventually be labeled as bad as Brown.

A drug issue like this is more of a failure of policy. As far as the federal reserve goes, that's more of a matter to be handled on the federal level rather than a state level, though I do agree that the federal reserve is crazy. Let's not ignore the data we have in front of our eyes, we know that homeless people have a higher crime rate than people with homes. So let's think about some major factors that contribute to homelessness. How about substance abuse? There's no denying that they are in fact linked, why not pass policies that will reduce this factor of homelessness? And of course, overregulation certainly causes an added cost for housing construction. Whether that be oil and energy pricing that affects transportation of materials, licensing and permit constraints that lower the supply of homes in the market, or things like rezoning that take up far too much time to even make land built on to begin with. I don't see any good reason why you would oppose something like reducing unnecessary regulations that only serve to increase costs with no clear benefit.
i may be a Demorcrat. but i think those are some common sense ideas. i would add to that to create a public forum for ideas. Oregonians will surprise you. :)
