Do you have video for removing rear speakers and subwoofer? I need to replace them soon.
Did you have to do any tuning? Calibration for the new set of speaker’s. Cuz I have a new GLE and comes with Basic speakers and I want to upgrade, but I am scared as the MB guys would void my warranty

In video you didn't drill the windows regulator pivots, did you soundproof inner part of doors?. will the soundproof still achieved without doing the inner parts
Yes possible . You have to work your way in slowly . Damn sounds so wrong but yeah
This is a very common problem in Mercedes Benz W212 models. In 5-6 years, the speakers get blown. Definitely quality issues. Remember the speakers are riveted. So get a professional to replace speakers. I am in India and have just replaced all four speakers with Harman Infinity Primus component speakers. Its 6 1/2 inch and comes with twitters. Costed me around USD 190.
Did you got them replaced in the existing brackets or new brackets? And did u install them with amplifier or without? My all 4 speakers are crackling in W212 I am also from India
@@shiveshgupta3333 hi. I replaced all four speakers and tweeters too. Today opened the door panels and found all speakers are cracked. The papers are coming out....the reason for crackling sound. Use Harman Infinity Primus component speakers. It will cost you appx 7k per pair . The mechanic came with wooden frame amd removed fibre frame for better effects. The speaker rivets have been taken out and new screws fitted. It took 4 hours to complete the job by two men. Charged 3k for fitting. Now soynd output is very good. No amplifier required.

Was there a noticeable road noise reduction?
Road noice not much because i didn't soundproof the floor. Traffic noise yes most definitely
@@tcaudiomute Interesting, I'll probably install the acoustic sheets to my w212 as I find the freeway noise at 110km/h a little higher then i think it should be
