I think I just come from that original e-gaming era and can't let go of how comforting it was to watch those 480p videos on my iPhone 4S in my studio apartment during undergrad. xD Or going back even further to high school days and early RUclips... there's just something so charming about the simplicity of that time. I'm open to transforming my channel, but I want to always hold firmly to my roots--which include retro games and episodic content. Times may have changed, but this chica is here to stay.

I haven't forgotten about you but yeah it seems like I haven't been around here in a minute because yeah I have been very busy and committing seriously in my career of being a technical engineer. Yeah I'm finally putting that dusty college degree of mine to proper use. 😂 Sounds like a LOT has changed up around your end as well such as the dogs being added to the ambience of your home as well as the birds in the background. I can't handle that shiz for real 😂If I have the need to have a pet, it's gonna be a relatively quiet one, like a Turtle, Hedgehog or an Iguana, something along those lines. Someone a while back told me that our 30's is the truest age of transition of our lives as that is the most prevalent part of age that has to adapt to change while our 20's is more or less personal growth. He wasn't lying though because it sure has felt that way with me. May everything be well and less chaotic for you Rabbs!
That's awesome, Jayden! Yes, this early phase of my 30s has been SO challenging in such a unique way. I'd definitely say my 20s was a lot of defining who I am as a person, while the first two years of my 30s has challenged my decision-making based on the skills, belief-set, and personality traits that I developed in the decade prior. It's a weird age to be; I still feel youthful and to an extent uncertain of myself, but I'm also past the point of total uncertainty, so I bring with me an air of decisiveness about things I want and need to be happy. So it can be conflicting and difficult at times... ahhh, the treasured 30s, lol. As for the dogs--LOL, you aren't wrong. They're a handful at times, but I really enjoy their company. The guinea pigs and birds kind of do their own thing, but I've found a lot of valuable companionship in my three pups. Although I've set aside a lot of time for personal growth late last year, I've still been struggling to make myself go socialize and try to foster new meaningful relationships. My dogs have allowed me a nice middle ground where I can make myself leave my property for hikes and pseudo-socialize, while still being able to retreat to the comforts of my personal space and snuggle something furry, haha. I love my doggies! As soon as I get the full four acres fenced, I'll probably add more critters to my menagerie. xD

Thank you, friend! I have a lot of very happy memories with my family, particularly the way we bonded and co-processed feelings. We didn't often discuss the intricacies of our pain or things going on, but we could all seek solace in gaming and book time during the evenings. I have also discovered some really great smaller channels just by searching for games and not always clicking the first playlist/video that pops up. There truly are a lot of wonderful content creators out there who are hovering in the shadows. It's always so rewarding to unearth those hidden gems.

I have some plans for what I want with regards to the house. 4bdrs 2 for guest, 3rd room will be gaming room for streaming/playing games offline etc. Meeting with a real estate agent this weekend and she's gonna show me around. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandmother. I know how challenging it can be to lose a loved one; I still am not completely over my father's passing, and that took place many years ago. I still feel his absence every single day, so I can only imagine how raw everything must still be for you. I hope your family can find renewed healing in 2022.
That's amazing! I never realized I was into animal behavior until I had the opportunity to facilitate animal-based therapy sessions about two years ago. From there, I decided I wanted to shadow some dog training classes, then I decided to enroll in a program, THEN that turned into me getting a hands-on internship at a pretty prestigious training facility in the area. It's been wonderful, and I've learned a lot about my own therapeutic approach from working with dogs. It's also made me appreciate the value that animals bring to healing, health, and wellness in general. I'm not sure what my end goal is with animal behavior-based interventions, but for now I enjoy being able to contribute positively to local shelters and rescues by helping make their dogs more "rehome-able". I think it's amazing you guys also train and are herbalists! What sorts of things do you grow?

I have brave fencer musashi(?) also on disc and the TrueBlue.

Haha, yes! I have Musashi (the black and white Siberian Husky), Kojiro (Belgian Tervuren), and Ranmaru (Belgian Groenendael). I'll have to let them make an appearance in an upcoming video. They're all so very different, yet they gel together beautifully. We're a quirky little family, but we're happy.
To be frank, I don't know how you keep going with this format, the editing must be so tiring. I wouldn't lie If I say that I would love to see you do some livestreaming especially if it could be less work for you and an easier way to get support! But still love the format you have here :).

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandmother. I know how challenging it can be to lose a loved one; I still am not completely over my father's passing, and that took place many years ago. I still feel his absence every single day, so I can only imagine how raw everything must still be for you. I hope your family can find renewed healing in 2022.

That's amazing! I never realized I was into animal behavior until I had the opportunity to facilitate animal-based therapy sessions about two years ago. From there, I decided I wanted to shadow some dog training classes, then I decided to enroll in a program, THEN that turned into me getting a hands-on internship at a pretty prestigious training facility in the area. It's been wonderful, and I've learned a lot about my own therapeutic approach from working with dogs. It's also made me appreciate the value that animals bring to healing, health, and wellness in general. I'm not sure what my end goal is with animal behavior-based interventions, but for now I enjoy being able to contribute positively to local shelters and rescues by helping make their dogs more "rehome-able".
I think it's amazing you guys also train and are herbalists! What sorts of things do you grow?

I still am working on carving out what all of my boundaries need to look like, but 2021 definitely reminded me that I have to start prioritizing myself, or I'll eventually become lost in everything that I'm doing. I’m focused on my backlog/nostalgia list: saga frontier, FF V & VI, Dino crisis, and Gran Turismo 2. I got the TrueBlue USB stick for the PlayStation Classic Mini and it’s amazing! I have my original hardware and games but this is just a convenient way to backlog. I have brave fencer musashi(?) also on disc and the TrueBlue.

Hi, Alexis! Yes, I have been doing some voice acting on the side, just for fun and some extra money to help me get the house in shape. It's been a weird segue that has allowed me to explore some new hobbies and passions, while not really requiring a firm commitment. It's been fun!!!

Haha, I probably should feature them more! They definitely can be a wild lot, but they're also big snugglers--especially Musashi (the Husky) and Ranmaru (the Groenendael). They're all sweet boys, but the oldest and youngest are especially big snugglers.

Haha, yes! I have Musashi (the black and white Siberian Husky), Kojiro (Belgian Tervuren), and Ranmaru (Belgian Groenendael). I'll have to let them make an appearance in an upcoming video. They're all so very different, yet they gel together beautifully. We're a quirky little family, but we're happy.
