    Aramit Renewal in Israel
Our uncle was a rabbi of the TAANAKH villages, Rabbi Barzani
What was the identity of the residents of the TAANAKH region
    They were Aramit speakers
[In the land of Assyria, which is under the Kurdish occupation]
They lived in villages, few families in a Muslim village
Did the Jews have a good time [under the Kurds], this is a fiction
They were not well, they were very afraid
The Kurds treated them as slaves
The Jews worked for the Kurdish villagers
The Kurds recruited the Jews for forced labor
    Jewish women were mainly abused
The village chief's wife would enslave them
Mainly on Shabbat or holidays in order to make their lives miserable
Even when she didn't need urgent work
She preferred to abuse them on Shabbat and holidays
I heard stories that it was very difficult for the Jews
Only outwardly the Jews said it was supposedly good
How was the fiction created that the Jews felt well under the Kurds
A fear so deep and rooted that it developed over generations
They did not dare to say how bad they had it under the Kurds
When they immigrated to Israel, they said that they had a good time
To encourage the younger generation and not pass on the fear to them
They didn't want the younger generation to know how bad they had it
And how scared they were of the Kurds
They wanted to instil self-confidence in their children, so they hid the truth
Give me concrete examples of the deprivation of the Jews by the Kurds
In 1948, the Muslim Kurdish neighbour entered the yard of my parents' house
My father was a weaver, he would sit in the yard and be busy with his work
The Kurdish neighbour pointed the gun at him and threatened his life
My father was dumbfounded, how can you threaten me
after all the good things I have done for you
The Kurd said: The Jews are killing Arabs in Palestine, so I will kill you
My mother went out into the yard and saw that the Kurd
was pointing the rifle at my father's head
Mother grew up as an orphan and now has six children who may be orphans
Mother pushed the Kurd to the ground and took the rifle from his hands
Mother ordered him to leave the yard and if he didn’t, she would shoot him
When a Kurdish delegation arrived to ask for the rifle back
Mother did not agree unless the head of the village asked her to
The head of the village came to my parents' house to ask for the rifle
My parents provided this by allowing them to leave the village
The Jews were the slaves of the head of the Kurdish village
and could not leave the village without his permission
When there were seasonal jobs such as the harvest, the Jewish slaves did it
You told me earlier that there were also many murders,
    who killed whom
Of course, of course, of course
The Kurds murdered my aunt's husband

I am a Sephardic Jew who lives in Germany. My family comes from Turkey and what the couple explains in the video is absolutely true. The Kurds like to try to pin their misdeeds on the Turks but from our Jewish experience the Turks are exactly the opposite. The Kurds in Eastern Anatolia and also today in the areas they occupy practice a radical form of Islam and have zero tolerance towards those of other faiths. I know many Assyrian friends here in Germany who tell horrific stories of their experiences with the Kurds who even tortured their own blood brothers the Yazidis, kept them as slaves and tried to convert them. This cruel behaviour towards those of other faiths is not unusual. I must note that even though my family came from Istanbul, it was known that the clashes in the First World War between the Kurds and Armenians took place first because they both claimed the same territory for themselves.

Shlama Doctor Yaakov Maoz. Before watching this video, I was watching a video on Assyrian TV, they were talking about the Kurds of Syria who were kidnapping and snapping off the young Assyrians from their homes and forcing them to serve in the Kurdish Militia.
Unfortunately for the Assyrians who live in Muslim countries, there is no one to protect them in the Muslim countries. There is no one in our political leadership to help or to protest with the world body of these kinds of kidnapping of the Assyrian youths, nor is there any help from our religious leaders in raising their voices against those kinds of atrocities and the illegal acts on behalf of the Kurdish Militias. The Jews and the Assyrians have more than one thing in common, such as culture, history, language DNA and the most we both share is that we both have the same enemy. We are hoping that the Israeli government would help the Assyrians who live in Muslim countries, and open their immigration doors to bring the Assyrians of the Middle East to Israel. May God bring peace to both of our nations, Ameen.

@@shneor.e Dear lady. Shlama or Shlamalakh or Shalamaloukhoon . I am an Assyrian and would like to answer your question about whom are the Assyrians of today, in which countries they reside, and what is their religious belief. The Assyrian people have lived for the past 6775 years in today's Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Turkey, and Lebanon,. In this century, they expanded to living in Armenia and Israel, and because of recent migrations, they live in all four corners of the Earth. They live in every country in Europe, Russia, America, Australia, Canada, and some in India and Pakistan too. Assyrians are known by these names, Assyrians, Chaldean, Syriac, and many other names, however, all belong to the Assyrian nation. Their language is the Assyrian language with many different dialects, it varies from country to country and from town to town, their accents change completely and some call the Assyrian language as the Aramaic or the Assyrian Aramaic language. Their main religion is Christian, however, they are divided in their association some belong to the old Assyrian Church of the East, some belong to the Roman Catholics, and they are labeled as the Chaldean and some belong to the old Church of Turkey and some to the old Syriac church, however, they all belong to the Christian faith. Some Assyrian Jews belong to the Judaism faith too. The Assyrian Christians and the Jews share many things in common like their culture, alphabet, language, history, and DNA, and both have the same enemies. I hope that I answered most of your questions. Please write me back to HABAIR54@YAHOO.COM MARTIN SHMOUEL DAVID.

I teach many Kurdish Jewish children in Jerusalem, most originally came to Jerusalem & Mevasereth. They are sweet, well-behaved, but weak. A lot of Jews from Kurdistan became building contractors. I don't think high school aged Kurdish Jewish children know Aramaic. It would be a very good idea to preserve it on youtube or such for future generations. Why didn't Kurdish Muslims protect Yazidi people from ISIS? What's wrong Kurdish Muslims not protecting their neighbours??? In general, many Israeli Jews DO identify with Kurds because we are both non-Arab peoples whose independence Arabs oppose. Kurdish Muslims NOT protecting their Yazidi (KURDISH!) neighbours make me think that Kurdish Muslims would do the same for JEWS if they lived in Kurdistan.

The Yezidis themselves count up to 876 genocides by the Kurds against them; they have also revealed that the Kurds participated with ISIS in the invasion of Mosul/Nineveh Plain and Shingal and sold Yezidi women to ISIS. Yezidis are not Kurds even though they speak Kurmanji.

We are not Kurds by any means. Our language is not the language of the Kurds, our religion is not the religion of the Kurds and our ethnicity is not the ethnicity of the Kurds. This lie was pushed into our heads when our parents immigrated to Israel. They thought that the language we speak is Kurdish and thus they eradicated the holy language of Aramit. The video also shows the ugliness of the Kurds and their brutal behavior against Jews. We have no good reason to be identified with the Kurds. We are Jews from Assyria as written in the Torah.

This is nonsense. The people behind this organization aren't Jews, but Assyrians, who hold a deep hatred for Kurds and do nothing but vilify Kurds. If you want to know the truth about Kurdish Jews and the history of the Jews of Kurdistan, read some works written by actual Kurdish Jewish scholars, like Yona Sabar, who was a Kurdistani Jewish scholar, linguist and researcher. He was professor emeritus of Hebrew at the University of California, Los Angeles. He was a native speaker of Northeastern Neo-Aramaic and has published more than 90 research articles about Jewish Neo-Aramaic and the folklore of the Jews of Kurdistan. Furthermore, Assyrians are Christians, and as many Jews undoubtedly are aware, Christian missionaries often try to come across as Jewish in an effort to convert Jews to Christianity. Lastly, Jews were actually persecuted and subjugated by the Assyrians - the Jews who were dispossessed by the Assyrians found refuge among the Kurds, where they continued to live in peace, with their language persevered, for over 2700 years! This video - and the entire channel, actually - is incredibly deceptive and is spreading outright lies.
